Ellinor

A cozy and intimate establishment located within the neighborhoods of Peabody Park. Elinor's usually requires reservations for peak hours due to its limited seating, but the wait is worth it. Their menu changes seasonally, so we decided to try a few things of their winter menu options including the braised short rib, Jacob's sausage wood fire pizza, and the sweet potato and burrata appetizer. All were quite tasty and the cadence of each dish was nicely spaced out.There are limited fine dining opportunities in the Appleton area, so make sure count in Elinor's if you're considering your options!

The ambiance, staff, and food were all amazing. I definitely recommend the toast they have on the menu, it was probably the best thing we had that night. Cool little place with a great vibe

I brought a group of 12 to Ellinor to celebrate a milestone destination event in Appleton.Planning a special brunch (for which I rented the whole restaurant) began a month before with Lindsay, who owns Ellinor with her husband Adam, the chef. Lindsay couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, getting me updated menus and a significant list of wine offerings. Veronica was our delightful and super helpful server. As for the food, everyone raved about their meals. Our group shared the following appetizers, which were sublime: Roasted Cauliflower, Ocean Trout Crudo, Cous Cous, Asparagus, and Peas & Buratta. For mains we had Duck Breast, Alaskan Halibut, Fjord Trout, Wood Burger and the Ribeye. Most of the group were foodies, and they all said their meals were excellent. I sampled all of the appetizers I mentioned and was wowed by every one. I had the Alaskan Halibut, which was perfectly cooked, moist and flaky served in a bowl with a delicious broth. Phenomenal!Finally, the Ellinor room, which is airy and light-filled, sits in a distinctive stand alone building (which in prior incarnations was a furniture refinishing shop, local five-and-dime, and photo shop) in a beautiful residential neighborhood. Truly unique.Next time I'm in Appleton, I'll be back. And for those of you who are up for a trip to experience great food, I'd set the GPS and take a ride. You won't regret it.

Ellinor hosted a charming dining experience. Our waitress was attentive and the vibe is very laid back. We started with the cauliflower which was to die for. My husband had a pizza (very tasty homemade sausage) and I had the duck. Both good. We ended our meal with the caramel ice cream. If there is a heaven, that's what I want to eat every day!I gave four stars because at times it felt stuffy, almost uppity. Some people are probably fine with that. You do sit very close to people so during quiet times it veered into uncomfortable terrible. Maybe some low music could help with that.

Amazing! I can't recommend this place enough. The food, the service, the ambiance are fantastic.Its a cozy and intimate space. I suggest making a reservation on Resy and making it as soon as you can. We booked a few days out and the peak dinner times were already taken. Our waitress was so sweet. She painted a perfect picture of the food as we tried to decide what to eat. Even when they got busy, she stayed patient with us and didn't rush us. My description of the food will not give it justice. You'll have to go and experience it yourself. All flavors and textures were perfectly balanced. Food is gorgeous, delicious, and fun to eat. I'm drooling just thinking of it.

Wonderful menu that is seasonal and geared towards a local/regional theme. The service was very nice and polite. The menu was expensive but I think worth it for a near fine dining experience. Beautifully plated food with note worthy flavors & texture. Definitely need reservations for this cozy space, also it can get a tad loud as it is a smaller space. I am excited to come back and try a different seasonal menu. I had the special at the time of a delicious creamy pasta with hazelnuts.

Finally made it to Ellimor, late on a Friday night! We walked right in and were seated immediately. Delicious appetizers made it hard to choose, but we ended up with the most adorable crab cakes and cauliflower. The crab cakes were delicious and had so much flavor and fresh herbs. For entrees, we split two pizzas and a burger. The burger was delicious ambit the pizza was even better. The brisket and corn pizza was light and fresh and the margarita pizza was incredibly delicious. Great selection of wine, too! Can't wait to go back!

All I can say is WOW! What an amazing experience my boyfriend and I had at Ellinor. We were seated promptly and were given complementary champagne due to Ellinor celebrating their one year of being open. Our food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. The duck was the best duck I ever had! Our waiter was very kind and had great suggestions. The scenery was very classy! Loved being able to see the kitchen. Will be back!!!

Went there on a cold night with a good friend. The building is small and cozy. The wine selection was good though most were pretty expensive. We started with the farro salad then for the main course I had the squash tart while my friend had the short ribs with black truffle mash. Both were delicious. Serving sizes in general were small so I had room for dessert and coffee. Pretty expensive for what you get but it was very, very tasty!

Awesome food, ambiance and service! Our server was Veronica, extremely personable and knowledgeable!. Started with Israeli cous cous which was exceptional. Oysters were fresh. Norwegian fijord trout was subperb. Finished with strawberry dessert! Highly recommend!
