Eli's Cafe and Pancake House

The Mexican omelette with cheese and extra chorizo was perfect. The spiciness was just right with an extra salsa. The hash browns were very good.The place was bustling on Labor Day morning. The decor is pleasing and not too overwrought. We were seated immediately and beverages came quickly. Our order was taken soon after, and the food came out surprisingly quickly.

Just tried Eli's Cafe out today and they have the best biscuits and gravy in Kenosha. Service was outstanding, food came out quickly and never seen the bottom of my coffee cup. Highly recommend you try this place!

Glad to check out this place on the last day of 2023, yes they are still open for breakfast and brunch on NYE. We arrived at around noon for lunch and there were already quite a few people. We were warmly greeted right when we stepped in and were taken to a booth. We had a toddler and they were very kind to bring a high chair as well! The service was very welcoming and good!!Three of us (excluding the toddler) ordered an omelette, a skillet and a Mexican style chorizo eggs dish. The portions are moderate and we were able to finish them all except for the toasters and tortillas on the side. Love the omelette and the skillet, and of course the rice and beans are so good! Owner and most waiters/waitress are Mexican as you can tell it will be authentic! The toddler liked the pancakes lol The inside was decorated with a lot of winter holiday decorations, and it created a really nice vibe. With great service and great food at a reasonable price, I think it now became one of our favorite places for brunch in the Kenosha area!Btw it's in the plaza where dollar tree and pick n save and lots of other shopping options are at, so it just made it very easy to go grocery shopping afterwards :)

Great food, coffee, and service! Family and senior friendly. Very clean! It's our Sunday morning go-to!

I LOVE Eli's and can't wait to return!This north side location tucked into the shopping plaza near the grocery store is so easy to visit. There is tons of parking and several stores. You can do your banking, stop in the Dollar Store and pick up your groceries after you enjoy breakfast or lunch at Eli's. The cafe has big storefront windows, has cute decor and is super clean. There are a ton of booths running along the walls all the way to the back. There are a few tables as well. The owner greeted us warmly and made us feel so welcome. Our server was FANTASTIC!! We never had to look for anyone when we needed something. There was always someone checking on us. Nice!!My sister ordered a traditional breakfast and loved it. She ate everything on her plate. I enjoyed my Veggie Skillet. There were tons of vegetables and the scrambled eggs were fluffy perfection. The Italian bread toast was the perfect addition. I cannot explain how fantastic Eli's really is. If you are looking for breakfast or lunch and want to feel like you are eating someone's home - this is the place. My sister and I left raving to each other about our experience.

I love to come to Elys for breakfast because I don't have to wait to be seated, I like the French toast , steak skillet. Staff is very friendly, plenty room.

We used to visit when this location housed the Soup Depot, and we were glad to see Eli's move in to give us back a restaurant option on the north side. Eli's offers pancakes, omelettes, skillets, burgers, dinners and the like. We've enjoyed breakfast a few times here. Always great service, fast food prep, hot food served just as you ordered to it. Great coffee!

I LOVE BREAKFAST!!! Any time of the day. Eli's did NOT disappoint me. My first time here. My go to meal is normally any type of Benidict. But when I saw their Mexican selections, I had to go with the Chilaquiles. The spicy red sauce was not "hot" spicy but very flavorful. Just a little tickle on the throat. Had bacon on the side and more coffee than I should have had. Staff was friendly. Service was fast. Nice and cozy. The menu has about 30 other items I need to try. Might have to leave them my coffee cup.

What a pleasant experience, for the first time in my life I had some wonderful imitation feta cheese. On my first gyro skillet they added the optional plastic pieces with my eggs. The service was very nice about it and told me "that's just how eggs are". The gyro meat itself was undercooked and chewy. If you don't want any of these wonderful food options take your business somewhere else.

Outstanding! Corned beef hash was some of the best I have had. I was visiting from Texas and I did not expect to find excellent homemade salsa I believe was made from habanero and was enough heat for this Texan. Very great place.
