Wow! Food and service was terrific. Best salsa in the area. Definitely going back. Only thing I was not happy with was the cellular reception, wish they had guest WiFi

Grabbed lunch here because we saw they had some pretty decent looking specials. We called ahead to place our order for takeout and even though we ordered four things it was ready in 10 minutes. So they are very quick!We got the lunch special #1 which was a chili relleno, a taco, and beans. We also ordered the burrito maya which came with rice and beans and then for a couple other side options we got a spinach enchilada and a chicken tamal. I'm always on the hunt for great tamales and this one missed the mark for me. It was more smothered than I'm used to and it was also more salty than I would have liked. The spinach enchilada was also drowned in sauce but had a lot of spinach and a pretty decent flavor. The burrito maya was also drowned in sauce, so definitely a fork and knife burrito, however it had a pretty good balance of flavors inside with the chicken and onions. It didn't taste overly salty and neither did the rice or beans which I greatly appreciated. The taco was a little better than the chili relleno, but my friend wished it would have been a soft corn tortilla for the shell. The chili relleno was also submerged in sauce, so it was a little difficult to tell what was all there. Oddly our favorite thing was the chips and salsa that came with. The salsa had a great herbal lightness to it which was a nice contrast to the refried beans!Overall, decent food for the price, but everything seems to be loaded with sauce, so be prepared for a knife and fork meal.

Great Mexican food! Great service as well! Nice to have an option like this in Evansville.

The food quality is authentic and delicious. I've only done takeout once, so I've not been inside the restaurant, but from what I'm told the establishment is clean and festive, full of culture and life. My SO has been frequenting this restaurant for the whole last year, and the restaurant greets him with niceties and small talk, which some people like and some don't, but we both enjoy interacting with good, quality people. Nothing more. Definitely eating more food from this restaurant.

Food is always good. Order anything, you will love it. Fridays can be quite loud, pick any other night if you don't want it! Staff are friendly and service is quick. Margaritas are 2 for one on Wednesdays.

Finally a decent restaurant stop for lunch! Not a whole lot of choices here in town so when I saw the sign I almost started jumping for joy!I stopped in for lunch not knowing what to expect. I was greeted quickly and politely. The the tables are spaced nicely so you shouldn't be worried about sitting on top of your neighbors. I had one of the lunch combos, 'the sppedy Gonzalez'. It included 1 taco, 1 enchilada, and beans or rice, (I went with the beans). My meal also came with chips and salsa!There was a generous helping of beans, the taco was solid and full of meat and cheese. My combo and a soft drink came in at under $8.50! As far as I am concerned you can't beat that for the amount of food I got!Only thing as a side note, (maybe just because they just opened) they show on their door 'free WiFi' I did not see any open networks or any networks that were obviously theirs. But FAR from a deal breaker for me to come back here again.... And again.... And again....

So good! The tacos and enchiladas are excellent. Fast service too. I'd recommend you give this place a try, if in the area.

Excellent Food, excellent service. Traditionally made food, raised in Southern California and know the difference! Amazing eating experience and we go as often as we can!

I have tried this restaurant multiple times as I have lived in the city of Evansville for four years now. Each time has always been a huge disappointment with them giving me the wrong food not the right temperature undercooked food or just bad food in general. Options are limited so we keep trying but we are finally at the point we won't ever return. Today we decided we would give it one more shot as I was feeling well and we all needed food. We ordered take out. I asked when picking up if my plate came with tortillas to my shock they didn't. Which to me was odd as I never been anywhere that didn't serve a plate with tortillas. I paid extra for tortillas and went on my way. Got home which the wrong order again. Decided to call this tome( first time I've ever called when our order has been wrong) the teenage girl that answered was extremely rude and I asked to speak to a a manager. He got on the phone and told me he would give me a $1 for the tortilla back but that was it. Well I am not driving there for a dollar when the guacamole is nasty. We can't eat the plate without tortillas. He then told me to shut up and spoke about my mother whom he doesn't know but definitely struck a nerve with me. Other items we have ordered there we have had the chicken salad which was hot melted cheese and hot chicken over a thin bed of shredded brown lettuce. My daughter ordered tacos with soft corn tortillas and has gotten flour and hard tortilla instead. These people there clearly do not care about the food they are serving especially when it's take out. I'm upset I didn't put this on my card to dispute it with my credit card company as I paid cash. This is something I try to do often for small business but learned my lesson now.

Great food for a reasonable price. The staff is always friendly and the place is clean. We've dined in several times and ordered pick up and we're never disappointed! We've gotten fajitas, tostaguacs, tamales, fish tacos, chalupas, tacos for Taco Tuesday...everything is great!
