El Rey del Pollo Asado

OMG - simply Amazing! Some of the best chicken I have ever had. If you are near here stop by. Not fancy - only a few tables but really good!

Good stuff, a little pricy but solid food. Was a little hesitant at first, looks a little sketchy, but am now hooked on their chicken.

Can't miss this place. Located on Green Bay road. Building is bright yellow and orange. Came here a couple of times during the years and they have the best chicken yet. I used the drive thru to take my order and there's wasn't many people there at the time. But normally this place can get packed. They do have a couple of tables inside for indoor seating. I ordered the 8 piece family pack. Which comes with a whole chicken with green onions and jalapeños and 3 sides. I got rice, mashed potatoes, and extra green onions. Everything is so delicious. It also comes with 4 sauces. 2 red ones and 2 different green ones. My favorite is the lighter green one. It has a little kick but it's still pretty good.

was originally wary of this place because it has a drive through and things on their menu like chicken nuggets. loldecided to bite the bullet because i was craving tacos. the drive thru went quickly, thankfully. i ordered two chicken tacos and a large horchata. i was hoping for piña, but they said they didn't have that. only jamaica & horchata. they also have jarritos. the tacos come with cilantro and cebolla. they were pretty good. the chicken was seasoned as well, unlike other places i've been to around here. my only complaints are that the tacos are incredibly tiny. smaller than my little baby hands. i also didn't like either of the salsas they had. i just used my own at home (el yucateco ) overall, i wouldn't skip on this place and would definitely be back!!

I was excited to try the taco selection of El Rey Del pollo asado and I can't say I'm disappointed. The Al Pastor could have been tad more seasoned but the char on the meat was there. Their selection of Salsa was very delicious as well, they stood out as the winner for me during the meal, truly enhancing every bite. The service was very efficient even with a long drive thru and in store line. Inside there were few tables but for a restaurant this size it all worked out perfectly. Would return again and would recommend to those in the area. I'm not sure if I'd go out of my way for the food though.

I was craving some tacos and I came across this on Yelp! The rice and carne asada tacos were great and the drive through was very convenient. Not the best tacos I've had but they satisfied my craving!

This is the brightest building I have ever seen, makes it really easy to not stand out and be noticed. El Rey del pollo asado is a bright orange building with chicken decor all over. I ordered through the drive thru. However, inside the restaurant seating is available. The service was fast. The chicken is delicious and all of their sauces are amazing. My favorite is the avocado sauce, it's creamy and spicy all at the time. The chicken has a really good seasoning on it. The meal comes with a bag of tortillas. I love to take it home to make chicken tacos out of it. My kids love it! We will definitely be back.

Food is amazing here, best chicken I've had around in town! Everything was super tasty and priced reasonable for everything we got. Rice was a little old, but the other sides we had Mac and cheese and beans made up for it. Service was quick through drive thru and even if we had to wait a little for our food, was definitely worth it!

Horrible customer service when calling for an issue with wrong items. They will not do anything but tell you it's what you ordered. definitely needs better listening skills for order taking.

food was decent but service was horrible and all the females has an attitude , and criticizing everyone the person that looks like the manager mad because they messed up our order when clear was the guys fault after that was bad looks we not from Illinois but definitely never going back there if we end up going back to Illinois
