Ordered steak tacos and they gave us pork. Tacos are not good either. Says 3 for $5 but charged more. Salsa is bland

My family and I have been here twice now and it's my husbands new favorite spot. They have a variety of authentic dishes along with breakfast options and pizza. Just like other Mexican restaurants they offer complimentary chips and salsa, but they give two different salsas and pickled onion/pepper. They also offer homemade tortillas which I love! Rather than the two corn tortillas that typically come with the taco, it is one tortilla that is nice/thin and fluffy without breaking. Their tacos are yummy and flautas are delicious! I only gave 4 stars because I feel we need to try more dishes. There is not a parking lot for the restaurant but there is street parking. I'd also recommend checking out the bakery next door! With the yummy smell lingering through the restaurant it's hard to resist.

Great restaurant! Amazing food, staff is amazing. Authentic food, all food is delicious. They sell Pizza, hamburgers, tacos, burritos, and chimichangas!! I love it because you can get anything at this restaurant. Desserts are delightful.

This restaurant just opened on Broadway between 10th and 11th Street right next to the Canelitas Bakery. This business is a welcome anchor to a neighborhood that's always been a bit sketchy, but if they succeed maybe others will move in. I thought the food and service was excellent. We had a mixture of steak, chicken, and shrimp fajitas which has great seasoning and were cooked perfectly. We also had a chicken quesadilla, and for as unremarkable a food item as that might be, this was probably the best tasting quesadilla this gringo has ever had. I am looking forward to taking my neighbor as he is a self possessed fajita connoisseur..

Don't let these other reviews fool you.. they work for other places.. THIS IS THE BEST 3 for $5 TACOS YOU CAN GET IN ROCKFORD.. they always know exactly what I want when I call and they make everything fresh.. the meat is tender and not dried out like other places.. they are friendly and their prices only change when you add extra as does other places.. the best in town hands down

I've been to this restaurant a number of times and it's never a disappointment. My favorite dish at El Pueblo is "Desayuno El Pueblo" because the meat is always very tender and the food is always warm. I would also recommend the "Agua de Horchata" and "Micheladas".

This place has gross food, is pricy and has false advertisement !! The service is horrible . Def do not recommend this place at all. I rather go to Portales

Went here for lunch on a cold January day with a friend we both had tacos and coffee everything was fresh. Are food was served with warm fresh chips and salsa and a delicious soup. Waitress was very nice. I definitely will go back if I'm in the area
