El Greco

We've always liked El Greco.We find that the service is always good and that the food is equally as good.This is an honest meal for an honest price. Good Hometown cooking.! We had the Athenian chicken and the gyros dinner. Both were very very good and the portions were very generous enough that we were able to take a good portion home with us.We do recommend El Greco!

This place never misses. You get a bang for your buck. Huge portions and reasonably priced. Food is always good. They have THE best desserts in Milwaukee. Cakes, pies, cheesecakes and parfaits, I've tried them all and they're all delicious. Service from the front hostesses is always friendly. Ambiance is diner like.

Awesome breakfast. A lot of food. Very good meal . Chris W was out waitress. Very pleasant girl. On top of it all . She was attentive yet not overbearing.

My family and I are at El Greco now and we have been waiting quite sometime. We are so bored that we had to create games to play to occupy our time. The was okay but or Server is pretty cool. I don't recommend recommend coming here if you're really hungry. We have been waiting for about 45 minutes,

Great food and good people. What more do you need. As yes... Pretty decor(see the pictures)! I stopped in here twice while I was in Milwaukee on business. My meals were excellent both times and the people so friendly. The portion and huge and great tasting as well. The price are more than fair for the amount you receive. I am in Milwaukee again this week and will be heading back!

As the names imply, this is a Greek Family Restaurant. So if you've been to one of the many other Greek Family Restaurant in the Milwaukee area, you would get the sense of what they serve here. Foods ranging from your standard American and Greek Fare, to Italian, Mexican, and a few Chinese dishes.Went in around 6-7ish and the hostess greeted us right away and we were seating right away as well. We sat at the booth and one of the things i will say is that El Greco could probably use a booth update. While still quite comfy, certain parts of the booth, one could tell its had a long life, so i ended up sinking on one end, while my friend was fine on the other end.Food here is quite alright, nothing to write home about and nothing to complain about. They did their job and they did their job right, delivered a decent filling meal.I got the t-bone steak, my friend order the steak and shrimp combo, and my other friend just ordered the NY Strip Steak.Me and my friend who ordered the combo, both our steak came out at the temp we ordered at, my other friend who ordered it well done, got it medium. I know what you're gonna say about well-done steaks, but my friend likes it that way. He didn't wanna cause a fuss so he kept it as is. I would've said something, but if he didn't wanna cause a fuss, then I wont.Overall it was an enjoyable experience. would come again.

Funny how states a few things to consider; food,service,ambiance HA !!!Thats a joke; went to El Greco on Saturday afternoon 12/7/24 Darlene I know you've been there maybe way to long you're very very rude, if afternoons aren't good for you choose different hours. The minute we literally sat down she asked what we wanted to drink. I guess we weren't fast enough looking at the choices she walked off. When she came back she seemed irritated as if it was an inconvenience to order appetizers. I guess it was my potato wedges were burnt . Because I ate one and mentioned to her they were burnt she said she couldn't take it off the ticket because I bit off of it . The meal was ok had a Reuben Sandwich .my daughter asked for yellow mustard . she brought it out no problem when I asked for DiJon she cut me off saying we don't have any. A minute later she walks out with it. When we finally got thru the meal. waiting for the check guess who had left disrespectful Darlene. No she did not get a tip. My tip,retire.

Let me start off by saying the waitress was amazing. I can't remember her name but she was an older caucasian lady with a pleasant demeanor & fantastic work ethic. She ran her tail off the entire time. I got the fajitas, flavor was , fresh crisp peppers and onions with good quality chicken came out sizzling & plenty of it. My only complaint was the tiny plastic cup of half filled sour cream & salsa sent out. It was gone on the first fajita and of course they charge for extra. My fiancé got breakfast. He enjoyed the sausage links & forcefed me the french toast noting it was light & delicious. We were stuffed but the dessert case looked bomb so he got oreo cake to take home and I got the fresh strawberry topped cheesecake. The cheesecake is what I like to call "worth being fat for". Literally, SO good. If nothing else, give them a try just for it. We enjoyed our visit. I will note that the area didn't seem to be the greatest & a few of the patrons had bad attitudes & attempted to make a scene about their food and/or takeout order not being up to par. I find this to be a person problem more than a restaurant problem. Who would walk up in a restaurant yelling at staff & demand to see a manager over lack of plastic silverware & stale bread? Apparently, the people here do. Unfortunate, but the staff persisted none the less and wished us a nice day on our way out.

I go here a lot!!! For breakfast and lunch! It's always very delicious. If you love bakery then this is the place to go because their cheesecake is to die for and you get a very generous serving (very generous)!! Did I mention it's all homemade!! The staff is always nice and friendly. It's very family friendly too. My grandson loves coming here with me. We are never disappointed.

I frequent this business a lot mainly in the evening . My last two visits were in the morning. Each time I encountered the same waitress (Tracy). Her language was foul and her breath and body had an ordor on my last visit. I could not eat my food. I spoke directly to the owner about her language and he basically spoke as if he was familar with her behavior. Food is good not great...service in the morning for me has been horrific. Good help is hard to find. Two thumbs down for Morning service.
