Nice heavy duty old school stainless steel tea pot. Made in Korea.

Wrong vegetables. Sauce wasn't done correctly. However, nice touch with the stainless steel dish lid to keep the food hot whilst serving.

Ok so I'm from Chicago and I was skeptical of spending $21 for lunch at a place I'm not familiar with. I was pleasantly surprised it was the best I've ever had. I'm an elite Yelp writer and I very hardly give 5 stars. The Egg Roll House deserves my rating. I just told my wife she has to try this dish. It is her absolute favorite. Oh, I'm talking about their Shrimp Egg fuyoung! Awesome!!!!! I'll be back ma'am definitely. Service was exceptional and the owner I believe was very nice.

Finally made it in--glad to have checked it out. The space itself is sparse/minimalist but that's okay- no issues with that. We started with potstickers- the dough is a little on the thicker side but cooked to perfection. The pork filling was delicious. Our entrees came out a different times and I asked for a shrimp egg roll which took extra time but I think it's a one man show in the kitchen so we were okay with that. I had the Orange Chicken lunch special which came with fried rice and an egg roll. Perfect portion size for lunch. The sauce on the chicken was quite mild so if you like it with a little kick- you just need to ask for it. Loved the rice. No carrots or peas--hooray! Carrots and peas do not belong in fried rice and we we thrilled to not find them here. My husband had the Steak & Broccoli which was good. He cleaned his plate.

Rather disappointed with the rather limited menu selection Did a late night carry out and it only 15-20 minutes on a rather busy night The one entrée that I did order was okay enough that I'd order it again (curry chicken). Would I go out of my way to revisit this establishment is probably not

My favorite Chinese food in the city. Highly recommend eating in person. Although the ambience is nothing special, it just hits differently when it's fresh to the table versus via delivery. For example when I order the egg foo young it comes out slightly crispy which makes it my fave all around. Same for the egg rolls.

Tea was good service excellent. Eggrolls? Just batter and cabbage even though we were told our party of four got four different varieties. All tasted the same looked the same inside. Our party of 4 each ordered different dishes the same response. "It's missing something " but none of us could say what. Everything was ok but blah. Portions huge piping hot. We really wanted to make this our next go to Chinese restaurant but it is no where near the now closed Bamboo House restaurant. Sad.

Do not eat here! I got E-coli poisoning after getting lunch on 4-15-24. No one should have to go through what I'm currently going through. I ordered Mongolian beef and the war noodles.

The best place in West Allis for Chinese Food. My family has been coming here for over 20 years. I have tried others (when the restaurant was closed due to the fire) and nothing came close.

I've visited this restaurant twice. The first time I ordered fried shrimp, 1 shrimp egg roll and shrimp fried rice. The fried shrimp were horrible and the egg roll didn't have any shrimp in it.Today I visited again and ordered steamed scallops and vegetables, shrimp rice and they replaced the shrimp egg roll. When I arrived home I started eating the steamed scallops and vegetables. There were 4 scallops mixed with the vegetables and the egg roll didn't have any shrimp. When I called the restaurant to complain about the 4 scallops this lady said they put 6 scallops with the vegetables and claim that the egg roll has 2 shrimps inside and it didn't have any once again. If you want real seafood go to a seafood restaurant instead of a Chinese establishment.I will never support this awful restaurant. I will support seafood restaurants going forward and I hope no one experience this type of trickery looking for seafood in a Chinese restaurant.
