Closed a going to Google and when I called operator answer is permanently closedWhich is too bad I was really looking forward to going. I was told that they changed locations but haven't been able to find it.

Had Edith on my list to try for a while and after a couple false starts (came on a couple of occasions and they had closed early), we finally made it!The space is cozy and while I do love the overall decor--the lights killed the vibe for me (too, too bright in a space that begs for amber). The drink menu is delightful. I got a vieux carre while my dining companion opted for a boulevardier--both were outstanding. The owner/bartender is lovely and the prices are average for the area.

Can't say enough how much I love Edith. Friends and I have frequented a few times, since first visiting over the summer, and it's always enjoyable!Their menu is crafted perfectly, so each cocktail is its own unique experience. The ambiance is comfortable and moody (their playlists are a vibe), which makes it easy to stay a while. Best of all the service is always impeccable - from the owner herself to the mixologists!Highly recommend to anyone who loves a nice speakeasy!

This tucked away spot can easily go unnoticed if you're not looking for it. A modest display of their signage is on their glass door which is a couple of steps off the sidewalk. They also have a small sandwich board sign out by the entrance. Other than that, it looks very nondescript with tinted windows that you can't see into the space with. The photos on Google don't give the space justice, it's much more welcoming than they would otherwise make it seem. Plenty of casual seating options from small tables to comfy couches. They are a craft cocktail lounge and per the bartender, get most of their foot traffic before a show just blocks away. Our bartender was friendly and knowledgeable, the cocktails were tasty and I'm looking forward to trying more on my next visit!

A friend invited us out after having tried Edith multiple times, and I'm happy it's on our radar. The owner was the bartender, and she was very sweet and makes great drinks. This is a drinks only place, and since the drinks are strong I suggest having a bite to eat prior. The vibe is cozy, dimly lit, and comfortable. I hope I can easily pop in for their nice happy hour deals, but I wouldn't ve mad if more people find this hidden gem downtown.

We were early for a show at the Riverside Theatre. Looking for a chill spot to have a drink and relax. Edith was exactly what I wanted. Chill vibes and good cocktails. It was about a 5 minute walk and totally worth it. We'll be back with friends!

Owner behind the bar makes the very best high quality cocktails! Friendly and warm atmosphere makes for a relaxing place to grab a few great drinks. Pricing is typical for high quality cocktails. Next time I am in Milwaukee this will be a stop for me!
