Eagle Inn Family Restaurant

I left a review a year ago about lunch. Tonight was the first time we've had their fish fry. Well above our expectations! Service was impeccable, the fish was amazing we got baked and fried and both were amazing! The restaurant is always clean and everyone is friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend Eagle inn for any meal!

Went for breakfast on a Sunday morning before the rush. Our food was served quickly and hot. Everything was delicious. The staff was super friendly and we appreciated the quick coffee refills!

They enforce wearing a mask as you walk through the restaurant. If we had a real pandemic a virus would get you as your eating. I was told to not come back if I didn't have a mask on. I truly feel sorry for idiots. Turn off CNN so you don't live in fear.Don't order the coffee...it sucks!

Best breakfast place I've been to in a while. The food was all delicious with great service. Unfortunate that so many are leaving negative reviews for a family business simply trying to protect their health and others' in the middle of a pandemic many businesses didn't make it through. Just be nice, people!

This place is your typical family run diner. The service was very nice, and they had a vast menu with breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. I had a salad and fruit plate, and both were decent. Not the freshest of produce used, as some of the lettuce was wilted and dirty, but satisfying nonetheless.

Our party of 12 was accommodated graciously by the owners on Thanksgiving day when most restaurants in Janesville were closed. When we arrived, we were greeted and quickly shown to our table where we promptly received menus and our orders were taken: traditional turkey dinners for nine of us and burgers for the three kiddos. The food arrived without delay, was good and came with the added surprise of dessert for the turkey lovers. Payment was handled without fuss and some of us even left with leftovers for another meal. This was a happy experience at a nice family restaurant.

Worst fish fry ever! Even the tartar sauce was bad/flat. The beer battered cod had an odd taste, though the pieces were a good size, bigger than Culver's. They put the Cole slaw without a lid in with the fish and the Cole slaw was hot. The clam chowder had few clam pieces or potatoes and was flavorless and as thick as paste.

We loved the fish fry. Great service. The owner is always present and friendly. My kids like to get breakfast for dinner and enjoy the pancakes.

As soon as we walked in today, the hostess was extremely rude. Was not greeted with a smile. threw the menus on the table and kept walking. The next set of people had a cup. and she rudely stated that there were no outside food and beverages allowed. the lady let her know that it was indeed empty and that was looking to fill it at the end. "well there will be a charge for that" very snotty. We come here for business lunch pretty often, and this was a first. Our server on the other hand was a very nice older lady. The food was okay.

Food was pretty good. Just your normal family style food. Reminds me of my family's cooking. Service was really good and friendly. The place is super clean and well kept. Bathroom was also very clean which is always good cause sometimes the bathrooms can be iffy.
