Huge burgers!! Flavorful and delicious. The environment isn't much but the food hits the spot! Friendly service and regulars make this place a great go to spot for a 1lb burger!!

Really enjoyed the ambiance--a real neighborhood place that has lots of TVs, friendly staff and solid, cheap food and drink options. They have one pound burgers! I was super hungry the day I went in and it hit the spot. Great, local beef, fresh ingredients and a great price! I had a few beers and a burger for a great, cheap price. Check this place out to watch a game or fill up on a giant burger.

Great 'out of the way' neighborhood bar with food. Great on Sundays for Bloody Marys and an inlet or eggs Benedict.

Stopped in on Tuesday for Taco Tuesday with co-worker.We each got the Taco Salad, one chicken and one ground beef....very good and generous portions! Service was also great.

So sad. So very sad. Avoid at all costs.Everything I read about new owner with raised costs and lower standards is absolutely true. $10 1lb bacon cheeseburgers 10 years ago set the standard for me. Came back tonight for the first time since and what a complete disappointment. How on earth did I leave a $4 tip for a medium rare burger cooked well done with burnt bacon in a bar that's completely empty? Unbelievable. AND the burger is $16 now AND turned out less than desirable.Biggest waste of 20 minutes home and back I've ever had.In the end I understand how hard it can be for new buyers to live up to the prestige set by the original owners.My review exemplifies how unacceptable failing such an easy product can be for consumers."Goodluck" - your disgruntled customer

Recently went for Friday fish-had walleye and fried shrimp...both very good! Drinks were also good (old fashions). Friendly, good service. We'll be back!

Always cheap, strong drinks and very affordable food. The burgers are the best in town - 1/2 pound and a ton of bacon. I hear they have a great brunch on the weekends but haven't checked it out. It is cash only so plan accordingly.

I heard this sold. Thank goodness. The food was okay. The service sucked. The ambience was that they waited on their customers that were regulars before everyone else. I heard the new owner is going to do some things with it but I don't get it. He drinks behind the bar along with his assistant.

Quick lunch and beer. Jalapeño pepper jack burger was delicious. Massive burger (1 pound). Beer was ice cold. Cash only ATM on site. Friendly bartender
