This place is so great! There are so many options of fresh local food. We got the empanadas to try and they were divine! My 1 year old devoured them too, definitely a must try. I want to go back to get the quiche for a weekend breakfast. Wonderful spot, can't wait to visit again!

AMAZING! (I have to say I am biased because I work here) DreamPort is a local & organic focused mini market open 3 days a week. The concept is like a farmers market except indoors and year round. It's open 3 days a week to provide the freshest seasonal produce and to not put too much pressure on local farmers. Farmers who are located within a local radius around Port Washington make deliveries often and drop off seasonal produce, frozen meat, local eggs, and more! Additionally, they have a working kitchen which uses as many local and organic ingredients as possible to make take home meals like quiche, flatbread, empanadas, and soup from scratch. They also make bakery treats and bread too. Everything made in house rotates, so each weekend is different depending on what is available in the store for the kitchen team! If you're looking for a gift there are lots of options here! The beef provider supplies homemade tallow balm, the beekeeper often has beeswax candles, and there's a local lavender grower as well. They support their employees who are artists by selling their work in the store. Definitely check out this cute store!

The honey is local, from the apple farm heading south out of town along the lake. It's bottled by the best honey producer in SE Wisconsin, a guy from West Bend who wins state awards every year. The taste, texture, and price can't be beat. Skip buying your honey from the overpriced seller at the market on Saturdays and walk two blocks north on the main drag.
