Wait this place is suchhh a vibe! Coziest little spot for brews (a few other drink options if you're not a huge beer drinker). I'd been into the Shorewood location many of times, but this was somehow a first for the Tosa spot. It's darkish but also very inviting. Plenty of bar seating, plus high tops, comfy little wooden booths, and couches. Also low lighting from various cool light fixtures that play into the overall ambiance. They have a solid 30 drink options on the menu to choose from. If you're into craft beer, this is absolutely a spot for you. My dad and brother tried various brews and chatted with the knowledgeable bartender. My mom and I on the other hand weren't feeling beer, so we opted for the paloma cocktail on tap. Really tasty! Tart and not too sweet. Would love to come back in the warmer months and enjoy the patio space I saw (currently covered in snow, ugh). I hear food trucks are often on-site too which is awesome.

Nestled on the edge of Tosa Village, this craft beer and spirits bar is a hidden gem that caters to the locals and casual visitors alike. With its rustic, cozy vibe, incredible drink selection, and top-notch staff, this venue has mastered the art of creating a welcoming and unique atmosphere.Food (4.0):While food isn't the star, the pairing opportunities with their extensive drink menu make it a treat.Service (4.0):The bar staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Whether it's offering tasters before you decide or sharing insights on their curated selection of unique beers, they go above and beyond to make the experience memorable. However, with this level of personal attention, the wait time was a touch too long for a -0.5. Additionally, long ago a manager wouldn't let me in without a mask, nor provide one, kicking me out before I had stepped in. Living just minutes away, I've avoided the venue for nearly three years before deciding to give it another chance. While my recent visits showcased significant strengths, that initial lack of customer service remains a notable blemish, -0.5.Value for Money (4.5):Prices were in line with the quality of the offerings, from local draft favorites to rare options like 1840's Peanut Butter and Jelly sour ale, making it worthwhile. The ability to sample drinks before committing ensures you're always satisfied with your choice.Ambiance (5.0):We very much enjoyed our double date with the Tobo Yelp Elites. With a cabin-like coziness, this bar feels like a retreat in the middle of Tosa Village. From its small but inviting seating areas to the festive touches during the holidays, it's a space that fosters comfort and connection. Uniqueness (4.5):The bar's ability to cater to both beer lovers and non-beer drinkers alike with its variety of beers, mead, kombuchas, seltzers, and tap cocktails sets it apart. Dog-friendly policies and the effective separation of space between indoor and outdoor patio experience only add to its charm and adaptability.Final ThoughtsThe later the better. This craft bar is a must-visit for anyone exploring Tosa Village or looking for a casual yet elevated place to enjoy an exceptional drink. Whether you're a craft beer aficionado, a whiskey enthusiast, or someone just looking for a cozy, dog-friendly spot to relax, this bar checks all the boxes.___________________________________________Here's a formula that expresses the quality of a restaurant on a 1-5 scale, considering key factors. One of my new favorite hangout spots! We were looking for a low-key spot to have a few drinks and play cribbage and this worked perfectly. I love that they have tap cocktails in addition to beer to cater to a variety of tastes. I had the Negroni and Paloma- both were great! Our bartender was great too! Looking forward to coming back in summer when the patio is open!

Came here for drinks with a group, including children and a dog. This place is nice and cozy, a dark but inviting bar that reminds me of a study. No tvs anywhere which was a nice change of pace. They have an extensive draft list, a decent amount of NA options, and non-beer alcohol options as well. Welcoming atmosphere. We went in winter but want to check out the patio when it's open.

Good variety of drinks here, beer, cocktails, and NA drinks. They are dog friendly and have a lot of different events that happen. The inside is very cool with a lot of unique seating options. There are two different outdoor patios as well.

A cute cozy bar on the edge of Tosa Village that's walking distance from anywhere you happen to get dinner in the village. I've come here a few times now and love their selection. Great sours and dark beers on tap. Enough variety that I'll usually get beer flights. Price wise maybe a little more than your average brewery. The interior is verrry cozy with a cabin feel. Not a ton of seating - maybe 3-4 large tables, bar seating. During the warmer months they have a small outside patio. You can also book their Beer School (I forgot what it's exactly called) that's right next door for private events. I had gotten a quote before but they were booked on the day I wanted but it was very reasonably priced and great for smaller (less than 40 people) groups!

This cozy bar has a beautiful, dog-friendly patio for warm days. The selection of beer is good with a large variety in styles. It's definitely pricey for the area though.

Ehhhhhhb....it was ok. We stopped for an after dinner drink - my husband had been before (and liked it) but it was my first time. Draft and Vessel is definitely beer focused with 20ish taps plus lots of cans/bottles. They also take care of non beer lovers with several seltzers, 2-3 tap cocktails and basic wine. Prices are very fair for both beer and drinks. The interior is pretty - lots of warm wood. I especially like the "beer barrel" booths. In nice weather times it looks like there's a good outdoor space. So why only 3? Well, i requested a tap Mule but was given a Paloma. The bartender was definitely giving the "you're not cool enough to be in my orbit" so I stuck with it and it was fine. I did have a mule which was very sweet - meh. Definitely did not get a welcoming vibe at all. I probably caught them in an off night?

We came here for some pre-dinner drinks on a Wed night and it was so cozy and festive, and not too busy which was a plus! The bartender was so sweet and gave me lots of tasters before I decided on the Vienna Lager (so good!). The lounge area with chairs and a couch set a great mood to enjoy a couple beers after hitting the Christmas Market. They have the coolest mapping of beers on the wall, honestly so informative to understand what beers come from what family (with specific examples of each one) and what glasses to drink them in. Downtown Tosa was so cute and we look forward to going back!
