I've been looking for a place to get some good tacos since I move back to Illinois from California. I finally found one Dos amigos tacos are delicious and the staff are very friendly. It is a nice cozy little restaurant with great food and friendly service I would recommend this place to everyone.

Clean=Friendly=great serviceAmbience= Well lit, plain, I like the TV. We live right near the new neighborhood restaurant and have been waiting to try it. If your looking for the typical Mexican restaurant with dim lighting, margaritas and music, you won't find that here. However, if you want very fresh, delicious and filling food then this is a great new spot. I had the chicken burrito, too be honest I was hoping for chimichangas but, the burrito does not disappoint. It's filled and like I said fresh! There are four different salsas from hot to no spice at all. This is a great small family restaurant atmosphere. I highly recommend giving this place a try, we will definitely be back. The only reason I didn't give five stars is I felt the menu was pretty limited, no bowls for salsa and no margaritas (not a big deal for me but I could see disappointed for some...the food though)

This is the kind of joint you would watch on Triple D with Guy Fiery. The food is authentic Mexican and freshly prepared when you arrive. To start with they give you chips with 3-4 types of salsa, all of which come in squeeze bottles which is perfect to put on a chip. The chips salty and fresh. We usually go for lunch when the crowd is decent but the service is still quick. The tacos are in a double soft tortilla with flavorful meat, and accessories. The torta sandwich is amazing with avacado, meat, cheese and sauce. Service is also excellent constantly filling up your beverages and water before you even finish. Overall a great place to get authentic Mexican food a very reasonable prices and perfect for lunch!!

I am new to the area. Coming from Southern California, I am always on the hunt for some decent Mexican good that I don't have to cook myself.Welcome to Dos Amigos Taqueria. This is a place to get your tacos on! Excellent street tacos and very good guacamole to go with it. The place itself is pretty small. I typically do take out and usually for lunch. They honor the tradition of Taco Tuesday with 99 cent tacos! I am also a fan of their veggie burrito. The beans are good and so is the rice. Prices are extremely competitive. Most of the time they have some sort of cake piece that you can purchase (and they are ALWAYS good). Today's cake was a German chocolate cake and it was very tasty.Keep in mind that their card machine is down, so make sure you bring your dollars!

Ordered a steak burrito with extra cheese and extra meat...it came to a total $11.36. I will never ever go back. My first bite had a piece of fatty bone in it...it made me imagine that I was biting in to a "knuckle". I spit it out. As I continued to eat my burrito I kept finding these huge chunks of unchewable fatty stuff. The meat is cheap and the cook is lazy. I don't cook every day all day and I know that when you cut meat you don't leave these gross meat/things in. I ended up not even finishing my burrito because it was disgusting and ruined my appetite. I'm sorry I believe you you don't say mean things....BUT $11.36 for a burrito filled with TRASH? CONSUMER BEWARE!
