I've driven by this place hundreds of times. The past couple I stopped in. The first time I simply tried a chocolate malt and it was great. Awesome malty flavor. So I decided to come back for food and it didn't disappoint. Got a single mushroom and swiss burger, fries, and large malt for about $13. The fries were quality fries. The burger was piping hot. I ate my fries and the burger was still piping hot. I had to let it sit for a minute. The burger was tasty. Mushrooms in a light garlic sauce. Good bite to the burger. The bun held up to a pretty messy, saucy inside. The service was great. Small crew but always a smile. Bring your food out to you and remind you to let them know if you need anything. Definitely stopping more often. A business worth supporting.

Nice people good food low prices. What more can you ask for?I would rank it a bit above Tinos, and way above trolley dogs. I had the Chicago dog, the woman I was with (my sweet wife) had the Cajun style. Both were mega-yummy.

First of all, don't try to use the Yelp check in offer of a free order of French Fries with the purchase of a hot dog. "Cuz we are the owners and we don't do no Yelp." After working past that, the service was prompt and polite. And the food is actually quite good.We ordered a Chicago style hot dog with a side of sweet potato wedges. The wedges were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft and sweet on the inside. And they came with a side of marshmallow topping!! The Chicago dog was a good representation. The onions wereslicrs small, and the celery salt was generous. Made for a delicious dog. Though I might suggest cutting the pickle into 6ths rather than 4ths to better fit in the bun.For dessert we had a dish of chocolate custard. The flavor was good, but the texture was slightly, powdery, almost maltish. (I loooove a good smooooooth custard. )We'll be back to try more things on the menu.

This place reminds me of a true American food stop! Cool classic style mixed with new and trendy... What could be better than hot dogs and ice cream? I really liked the hot dog choices but the creamy ice cream was the best soft serve I've had in a long time.

The only thing I've been disappointed about is that they automatically add upsell to milk shakes which is higher than the posted price! If you mention it, they scape of the added cherry and whipped cream. However, if you're allergic to cherry, that's probably not good. So I recommend that you compute the total amount of your order before going to the window.
