Best little hotdog stand. Love the Italian beef, and the burgers glad I didn't listen to the reviews my friend told me about the place.
They tgeir beef sandwich is number 1,, it was good, but number one to who?

A really nice local grill with takeout food, no indoor seating. There are a few outdoor seats overlooking Waukegan harbor. The service was good, and the brat and hot dog were enjoyable. The view and relaxing atmosphere were its strong points.

It's a tiny little hot dog shack right by the lake. I mean it, 10 feet from the lake. I got a great dog, Lizzie got a great polish. What else do you need?

Hidden gem. Stopped on way through the area. Awesome brat, beef and hot dogs. Friendly staff. Worth a visit if in the area and great view of the marina.

Great location right on the lakefront. Kind workers. Outdoor small tables are available to use. A variety of food items. I've had the bratwurst and burgers. They were both good. It's a local gem. Next door is an ice cream shop. Can't wait to go back.

Rustic - esq hot dog/hamburger/bratwurst stand located on the Waukegan harbor. Within walking distance of the boat launch, large pier (w/ lighthouse) and marina. The hot dogs are about $3 each and you get to add all of the fixings to it yourself. There is only outdoor seating. Great for food and/or a refreshment on a hot, sunny day.

Although I have never had an unpleasant experience here before, today was the exception. We were attended to by who I can only assume is the owner, and we were met with an abrupt, rude and condescending person with absolutely zero customer service skills. The teenagers working summer jobs here are always smiling and pleasant to deal with, but this person today left a bad taste in my mouth!

I was so excited to learn they have Beyond Burgers. Finally something for a vegetarian. First It took the worker well over 5 minutes to figure out how to charge me. She had to call the owner and another person. I felt terrible. there was a line behind me and said I'd go elsewhere but the people behind me insisted on waiting for me. Then it took about 20 minutes to get my Beyond Burger. I know places are short staffed so I didn't complain. It was barely lukewarm when I got it which means it sat and waited for me while I was waiting for it. By the time I put my condiments on and sat down it was cold. The burger was decent. People working there were nice. Not worth the wait.
