Milwaukee is home to some great coffee spots, but Discourse is truly in a league of its own!The menu. They offer some of the most creative coffee drinks I've ever had. I tried their Moonwater--a perfect blend of espresso, milk, honey, cinnamon, black pepper, and smoked sea salt--and it was pure magic. The layers of flavor were so unique yet perfectly balanced. Every sip was an experience. The ambiance. This place has the coolest vibe. They've got a vinyl record display, and I'm pretty sure they play records, which just adds to the overall charm. It's the kind of spot where you can't help but feel inspired--cozy, stylish, and thoughtfully curated.Discourse isn't just a coffee shop; it's a destination. If you're in Milwaukee and love coffee with a creative twist, this is an absolute must-visit.

I love a good coffee shop especially somewhere with experimental options. Some places that say they make "experimental coffee" don't hit the mark but this place does.I got the flora coffee which has lavender honey, rose water, lemon powder, and salt. It was a prefect cup of coffee. The barista was also super helpful as I was in between the flora and Parisian. They knew the perfect questions to ask to help me with my decision. My husband also was deciding between two options and they were helpful to him as well. For food I got a simple croissant while my husband got the caprese sandwich which he enjoyed. The overall look and feel of the coffee shop gave a cozy industrial vibe. It was clean and had plenty of options for seating. We arrived at 9 on a Saturday morning and it started to get busy around 10am and was almost a packed house. I will definitely be back to bring friends.

10/10. Fave coffee shop. Discourse's flavor profiles and drink offerings are amazing. They use the most interesting ingredients to create unique and tasty drinks that are unparalleled to other menus in the area. I love that they typically have their usual menu, a seasonal menu, and a special weekly menu. If you are looking for just 'coffee', Discourse may seem a bit overwhelming, but if you're looking for a sensory experience for your tastebuds, you cannot go wrong visiting Discourse.

The staff are so sweet here! I was nervous about the latte that had some chai in it (because it isn't my fav flavor) and the barista explained to me how it would likely taste; I trusted her and it was DELICIOUS! Lots of seating in here which I love. It also was very open but not loud. I'd definitely come here again.

Cute place with hip vibes. On the pricier side when it come to a cup of coffee but you're getting handmade craft drinks with really good bases. The pastries were amazing, we got the creme pie croissant, almond croissant, grilled cheese, and lox bagel. One thing we noticed was there was a LOT of cream cheese on the lox bagel but it was still very filling and tasty. The staff was nice and working their butts off during the rush that came after us.

Coffee culture is alive and well in Milwaukee! Discourse is a great place for a coffee connoisseur vibe. Unique coffee presentation complete with a lovely cup and saucer set. I also enjoyed their gluten free chocolate cookie - super moist and yummy. The ambiance is uber chill which makes me want settle in and start my novel or gather with friends for deep life discussions. It's perfect for a weekday impromptu gathering - which is what my family and I did a couple of weeks ago. Service is friendly, although not speedy. That's OK. Good coffee is an art. This is definitely NOT grab and go Starbucks vibe.I will definitely be back to explore the other items on their coffee menu.

This coffee shop has style and ambiance. There is lots of seating that spills out into Radio Milwaukee, the local indie radio station that is connected to the coffee shop and has a shared community space with chairs, tables and couches.Trendy, indie music is constantly bumping in the background. They sell vinyl records and the place is a nod to the those old vintage vibes. The drinks are unique and creative but pricey. They also serve sandwiches (also pricey). In addition there are boozy drinks like Carajillo and Manhattans, making it a very unique spot to hang out and have a cocktail - but only open until 4:30 :(The outdoor space is large and features a cozy fireplace perfect for chilly days. Overall, its a warm and inviting atmosphere. This is a nice addition to the flourishing Milwaukee coffee scene. Very unique takes on coffee drinks and a fun vibe, but beware of the sticker shock.

If you're craving a savy drink- this is the place to go! Super extensive menu with fun ingredients that test the limits of your palate! The coffee I ordered was a traditional latte with orange bitters and smoked sea salt with a lemon rind garnish. Super unique but smooth! Like fall in a cup! I will note that the cup and saucer set was so adorable The tomato croissant was fresh and fluffy with big slices of heirloom tomato, crumbled feta and homemade chilli crisp! A touch of heat never hurt anyone:) the croissant gets a big soggy with the tomato, but nonetheless, the flavor is exceptional! Really great place to try something new! Also located inside radio Milwaukee, great place to work:)

single handedly the best coffee i have ever had! the vibe in there is perfect and they have games to choose from. the bartender helped me pick between my drink choices and i've never loved a drink more. we wanted to get second rounds of coffee but unfortunately by the time we decided to we realized we needed to leave because they were closed (and they didn't even tell us to get out or anything!) best place ever
