Discount Liquor

By far the best liquor store in the Milwaukee area. Wine prices and variety are the best anywhere. Old vintage wines for the same price as new vintages. The wine guy, Bob, is phenomenal and extremely knowledgeable. This is the best spot in the city. Whiskey selection is outstanding as well. I am not a beer guy but they have the largest selection I've ever seen.

A variety of products! Stuff I've never seen at other stores! Very helpful staff. Good deals on liquor. Good prices!

I mean...it's a liquor store. No big, right?!Wrong.So, so wrong, my people.Let me be up front with the fact that my opinion could be a little skewed. I moved here from a state where liquor stores are run by the state. Which means, that the workers in them (from those choosing the stock to the cashiers) are state employees who may or may not know a single solitary thing about the product they're selling.Not so in Wisconsin! And, definitely not so at Discount Liquor.Discount Liquor offers one of the most expansive, comprehensive, and just plain fun selections of beer/wine/liquor I've come across in the area. It's one of those stores you want to leisure over. It's the type of spot that no matter what you go there for, you'll find the item you seek plus other things you didn't seek but are simply irresistible.The breakdown:Beer: Their craft beer selection is second to none. They carry an absolutely amazing variety of brands and brews. I was just in there this morning and their seasonal beer selection is top notch. If you're looking for a fun and hoppy addition to your Thanksgiving table, look no further.Wine: Their wine selection is wonderful. They have something to suit every palate and helpful employees who will help you find exactly what you're looking for. Liquor: It's hard to lump all liquor together, but for the sake of length I'm doing so. Their liquor selections are expansive from high quality top shelf to bottom shelf shooters. Their Scotch selection delights me each and every time I'm there. Their bourbon selection does as well. Both local distilleries and nonlocal are well represented.They also have a good selection of sodas, mixers, and garnishes (olives, cherries, etc). Plus, they sell ice.Final fabulousness? Their prices are also some of the best in town. Discount Liquor, you're like sunshine on a rainy day.Get to it!

I'm always looking for a good source to find those hard to get tequilas. I was surprised to hear that discount liquor might have Fortaleza in stock so I went in and I was pleasantly surprised to find it! I've since gone back and bought a 2nd bottle as well just in case it sells out and becomes hard to find again. The people that work there are great and very helpful as well. I always ask questions and they don't even seem annoyed! Lol

So I'm talking to a guy at work and he is stoked because when he is done today he will be on vacation up north so I ask are you all packed and he says he has the important stuff, the blender and Margarita mix. I say Margaritas seem like a hassle with all the ice, mix, booze etc, etc to make them and he gets super excited and says nope, just ice and mix. So I'm like you still need a bottle of tequila and he is like nope, it's all in the mix.He tells me to go to discount liquor and look at there weekly add and he points out Jose Cuervo Margarita golden and I like a dope say again what about the bottle of booze. He's like it's all in there, Cuervo gold tequila is in the mix bone head, just add ice.So I finally stop at Discount Liquor and check it out and the store is amazing with all the variety and one cold loose track of time just checking everything out, after 20 minutes I kicked my self out and left with the margarita mix to try later. The place is obviously the place to go given all the non stop people and the hectic parking lot, more check out lanes open than Walmart, at least three that were all full. A sausage and dog cart was there for the first time in front and if the money is there he said it would be a regular spot, good luck man.

This is my neighborhood liquor store. I'm always pleased with the beer selection they have. There's always something new for me to try out. I'm not much of a wine drinker, but the few wines I do like what I am able to find. The owner is friendly and helpful. They also have a wine club for those of you who are really into wine! This place is my go-to.

A hidden gem that is still old school for those looking for fine adult libations. If you are looking for a great selection of single bottles of imports -- especially dark beers -- there is an entire loooooonnnnng isle for you! There is a large selection of bourbons and whiskeys, with several special barrel strength choices. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful.Tip: Ask the manager for available "hard to fined" bourbons.

Great savings!This place has everything you could ever need if it's booze related. Super friendly staff and checkout is quick and painless. They even offer to carry your stuff out to the car for you!

Best variety of liquors that I have ever seen. Great prices. Helpful staff. It would be my go to place for liquors if I lived in Milwaukee.

Great selection of beer, wine and Spirits. And very competitive prices and excellent customer service. Bob is the wine guy. He knows his stuff. He spent probably 45 minutes or more to help us fill our new wine refrigerator.
