Dino's Pizza & Subs

I am so happy I moved to Plymouth and can have Dino's!! An absolute fav of mine! Their subs are to die for! The club is my go-to! Great food, great service!

Just ordered two pizzas to go from Dino's and they were great. Lots of cheese. Friendly staff. Crushed pepper and Parmesan cheese packets available in bowl. Small seating area. Ovens viewable when ordering. Will definitely go back.

Dino's is a out of the way place that the locals know about and love. Dino passed away a few years ago but whoever took over has the same standards that Dino had and the pizza is hand made and the best in Plymouth in my mind. Don't take my word for it give it a try yourself, don't wait till the bars close because the hours are not late night.

Ambiance: ha, ha if that's what you can call it. The inside of this place is like my Aunt Delores' living room. Dark brown paneling, 1970's era curtains on the windows. A Greenbay Packer's rug hanging on the wall. Behind the 1910 crankshaft brass cash register is a shelf that clearly functions as Dino's medicine cabinet. Outdated light fixtures. You may think I am ripping this place apart. Quite the contrary, I adored it. The place made me smile, as I basked in it's unpretentiousness and homey vibe.Beverages: Bottled sodas available for purchase out of the cooler.Food: We split a medium pizza and ham sub sandwich. The pizza is made fresh and the dough is hand stretched in the small kitchen. This place has one of the most generous cheese topping I have ever had in my life. I watched as it was piled on, mesmerized by the sheer volume. I asked for fresh tomatoes and onions on my half the other half was sausage and onion. Again very generous topping portions. This pizza had the ultimate "gooey" factor. I could barely pull my piece away as the cheese stretched from the pie. It was delicious, the only complaint I have is I felt the sauce was a little on the bland side. At the counter Dino has complimentary cheese, oregano, chili peppers and garlic salt. It is always the little touches like this that endear me to a restaurant. It means the owner put great thought into offering little extras to make his customers happy. It's like when your grandma knows you like maraschino cherries so she keeps them on hand for when you visit. She does it because she cares. The sandwich was excellent. First off the sandwiches come with 1000 Island dressing on them instead of Mayo. This is brilliant. Second, the bread, oh the bread, it made my heart sing. In between large bites I kept uttering "This is the best bread I've ever had" followed by a guttural moan. The bread was crispy on the outside with sesame seeds. The inside was soft and airy and smooshy. You could hear the crust when you bit into it. The flavor was outstanding. The sub was toasted so the cheese was nice and gooey. Dino's knows how to do cheese goo right. For what we got, the prices seem criminal. The huge sub? A mere 5 bucks, and oodles better than that crap they serve at that place named after a transit system. The medium pizza, split toppings, four in all, $11. Staff: There's only one and his name is Dino and he is my new everyday hero. Upon entering you will be greeting by the Lilliputian Dino, he will no doubt strike up a conversation with you. Remember earlier when I told you the pizza is made fresh? It's made personally by Dino, everything is. As we were looking over the menu board we were discussing what we wanted on our pizza and having a little trouble coming up with a compromise. On hearing this Dino told us "You can always get it half and half". Smiles abounded as we each got exactly what we wanted on our respective pizza halves. He also recalled my boyfriend's fondness for the Ham sandwich. My boyfriend was amazed, "I haven't been here a few years, I can't believe he remembered" he said in a quiet whisper of shock and awe. He was touched. We got there probably 15 minutes to closing. While waiting for our pizza Dino took call from someone clearly inquiring as to when he would be able to walk his dog. (Big ass bonus points for being and animal lover). When we got our food, it was 5 minutes to close, we asked if we could stay the five minutes and scarf down the food. He said okay as long as it's only 5 minutes. I looked at the boyfriend and said let's just let him go so he can take care of his pup. Dino was so sweet and immediately asked me if I had a dog, I told him no, but I had a cat so I understood. He looked at me and said "Yeah, they become part of your family don't they." And went on to tell me about his parakeet that had died. Dino is a sweet soul. I have a feeling even if we had decided to stay and took longer than those five minutes he still wouldn't have kicked us out. As it was he encouraged us to take tons of napkins and plates so we could eat our meal properly.Go here for yummy pizza with a metric ton of cheese, or for the subs with 1000 Island Dressing, or for the very reasonable prices, or to talk with Dino, whatever your reason, just go.

My all-time favorite in Plymouth. Especially when Dino is running the show... I recommend the pepperoni pizza. The subs are out of this world too. Perfect mix of cheese on a toasty bun... with a good load of 1000 island sauce.

Awesome as usual. Subs were hot ready on time. So happy they are back open for business.

Best sub sandwich I've ever had! The ham is my favorite, but they're all delicious!! And the pizzas are incredible! Dino's secret sauce is the best and all the toppings are fresh.My favorite place to eat in Plymouth!

Love this place! The gluten free cauliflower crust pizza is good here and the service is great! Their pizza is the best price in town and they accept discounts/coupons for all their pizza's including gluten free!

Really really good pizza, sauce is perfect, crust is perfect, sausage is some of the best I have ever had.The pricing is really good and the people are very nice.why go anywhere else?
