This guy would be welcome here!
Dive all the way.
This is as good as it gets, all can domestic beers only.
This is a super dive bar.

This is the type of bar that you only can dream of finding. I found it and I cant stop talking about it. "They have a fish for there cover page on yelp" is literally what I tell everyone!!

I am not a drinker but I love going to Devines where I do play bar dice and drink my Diet Pepsi. The penny machines they have are vintage and lots of fun. They have a pool table and the best darn free popcorn I've ever eaten at any venue. It's always a fun time at Devines. Bartenders are fun and keep the fun going. Come on out to Brookfield to have a brewsky at Devines, N. 124th about a long block north of Capitol Drive. Bring your well-behaved/social k-9 along to join in on the fun. All the popcorn on the floor is for the dogs. Humans get their popcorn from the popcorn machine.

I had about 30 minutes to kill before being where I needed to be so I stopped in here to grab a couple beers and hang with the regulars.First off this is the dive of dive bars and I would call it a super dive bar. There is a small bar area and the Wisconsin every bar has one poker machines. The old school cash register says it all. There is a flat screen for sports and nasty looking pizza ovens next to a microwave, I really want to here. The locals are super friendly and greeted me like cheers as I walked in even though I have never been here before so that was cool. No heavy conversations just honest to god down to earth men and women having conversations about kids, fishing, family, fishing etc.I asked what they had on tap and I was told only can beer here so I asked what do you have and it was all domestic and not a single exotic or cool beer. The bar lady said I could get a mixed drink so I asked if they had Makers mark and no so Jameson was probably a no go either so I ordered a PPR and least it was a good temperature. Overall this is a super dive bar with no top shelf beer or liquor and the regulars will treat you like you have been coming here for years and let you in the circle. I would have given more stars if it was more than a corner store can beer place. I can't say that I would not go back because sometimes I like friendly dive bar but I wish it had better options.

A old Timeless treasure and Roadside Bar this place was well worth the wait and a unique visit and drink. The bartender was very friendly and just far ahead that you need to look with a pool table in the back area and really really small bathrooms. This is about as much of a dive bar as one will find and this place may not be for everyone

I can not believe that Devine's is still around. I grew up going to Devine's with my mom when she would cook there (or drink there). I am 59 years old now and I was about 7 years old when I first started going there with mom. I think the last time I was there was when I was 18 and on leave from the military. Who is running it now? I know Bob can not still be alive. I remember Bob used to give me Slim Jims and make me Kiddy Cocktails as I would sit at a table and color. I remember there was a very primitive electronic dart game that you played from the bar with this big plastic box. I remember after Bob was robbed, he got a big German Shepard, I forget the dogs name but I loved playing with him when he was young. Lots of good childhood memories in this old family run tavern.

A unique little bar. Was really quite surprised. Haven't been bar hopping for several years. More like decades. Maybe I am turning into a teenager again. That's right you have to 21 to legally drink now. Gee how times have changed. When I was 18. Oh well who wants to hear ancient history. One drink and home.

What a great little bar!! This place was a favorite of my recently deceased brother,... now I see why he loved this place so much. Just grab a can of beer and have some good times with good friends. DD and her team at Devine's put on a wonderful "Celebration of Life" for my brother Stu (46) who died suddenly on Valentines day. Wow,.. seeing the Sociables- Southern Rock Band perform at Saloon on Calhoun to honor his life was something I'll never forget. I have just one more thing,... Don't change a thing!! Great Job!!DD, Kenny, Skylar, Sarrah,... everyone else I missed. THANK YOU.CBohmann

I don't want to say a lot about myself, but I've been known to frequent many bars in my day. Not that that makes me a bad person, I just wanted to start this review with that! If you look up "dive bar" in the dictionary, a picture of Devine's will be there! For many people that would be an immediate "no go"! For those of you who understand where I'm coming from, this is the place to be! If you want to get away from all of the hustle bustle and pretentiousness of normal bars in the area, go to Devine's. This isn't the kind of place you want to hang out with a bunch of your friends. This is a place where you want to make friends and hear good stories. You're not gonna get a lot of top shelf booze or fancy cocktails. In fact I'm not even sure you can get bottled beer! It's perfect!
