Derango Pizza King

Ordered from here for the first time. Since the weather was bad, we knew it would take awhile for delivery, but 2 hours? Plus our road is a main road so it was very drivable and completely plowed. The food itself when we received it was cold. Once again because of the weather, we were half expecting maybe a warm pizza and sandwiches but all of it was cold. I think I would probably next time dine in or wait till it was warmer to order. But I must say the coupons they had on our order is very enticing... All in all not bad food just cold.

Teach your waitstaff to be honest about YOUR prices including all coupons. No one likes being surprised when the bill comes.My husband wings were plentiful and he enjoyed his meal and had a good time. My chicken fettuccine Alfredo was not good at all. I wish I hadn't have come here. My husband probably didn't dislike his experience as much as I did. The ambiance was pleasant, music was nice, and restaurant was clean.

I was visiting a friend in Kenosha so we decided to try this nearby restaurant plus she had a coupon. Even though this restaurant is a neighborhood, this limited parking behind the building.We had arrived shortly after 11am so we were able to be seated right away. The interior is nothing fancy plenty of various booths and tables with plenty of space between them. Chris, server, had greeted and went over the menu with us. The menu was primarily Italian, however, had plenty a various sandwiches available. I finally decided on the Chicken Parmesan with Alfredo Sauce. My friend ordered the Ravioli. Since we had ordered meals, I picked the Creamy Chicken Rice soup and my friend selected the house salad which were brought out to us within minutes. No complaints.Within a few minutes, the abundant size entrees were delivered. We both agreed, the meals were really good and well seasoned. Neither one of us, could finish our meals. The food and service were great. I would recommend this neighborhood restaurant.

This restaurant has been a Northside staple in Kenosha. While the food has not always been the best, it was a fun and inexpensive place to bring the family with great drinks. I understand that inflation is affecting everything and everyone, but their prices are outrageous. $8.95 for a hot dog and $5 extra for fries. Soda is $3. So glad the rum runner was on point and able to numb the pain. Sadly, we won't be back.

We ordered 2 French dips for lunch today online it says $11. When my apprentice went to grab them they charged him $33.55. When we called they said for cheese it was $2 up charge and then $4 up charge for fries when we called we asked just for French dips figured they came with cheese and aujus but that didn't come with it either, this is the worse customer service I have ever recieved when we called. I will be telling everyone I know to stay away from durangos since it's the biggest rip off in Kenosha!!!!!

My family came to this location for my granddaughter's 6th birthday tonight. Our waiter Chris was great; very attentive to whatever we needed. The manager, JJ, asked if they could put the cake in the refrigerator for us. When it was time for the cake, they played happy birthday on the jukebox & brought the cake (with candles) out for us & had the entire restaurant singing happy birthday as well. I forgot to mention, the pizza was fantastic as well!! We will definitely be back!

A BIG shout out to our friendly and super server Kenny! His constant checking in our table was so welcomed. Thank you Kenny for a deeeeeelightful evening! Still love the pizza!

The owner is charging along %4 convenient fee / she charge for every credit and debt card you use. The merchant has to agree to terms with debit card issuers that their will be absolutely no sue charges. Plan a simple hes ripping his customs off cause I know damn well hes not sending that money to visa/ or MasterCard. So what's he doing with, my assumption is hes pocketing it. Just imagine how many thousands of people that have came in there and got charged a $4 sure charge. That's a lot of money in just one year. Bot to many people pay for pizza with credit card maybe %10, and the other %90 paying with debit. Say he had $1000,000 in debit and credit sales he could charge up to $4 surcharge on that %10,000 in credit card sales which is $400. Know make it make sense why you'd charge up to %4 on $900,000. Where did the $36,000 go, definitely didn't go to visa or MasterCard. I know he just started doing this like 1-3 years ago. That's a lot of fucking money that hes ripping his customer off od. And in today's economy why would anyone do that to someone knowing they can hardly take care of there family and put food on the table, and pay rent. This dude needs to be investigated. Plan and simple

A regular customer for over 30 years. I dined here Friday 2/23/2024. Friday Fish Fry. I was here art 3pm. Fish took forever. I have had outstanding fish (I think the best in Kenosha...Not so this Friday. The fish was very lighted coated and when you lightly pressed on it it was MUSHY. This fish is outstanding when.....the coating is like a "shell" you tap on it and it is "firm" and "crisp". You cut into it and the"shell coating" is crisp. The fish inside the "shell" is flaky and falls apart .Todays fish was like fried and "held" and got "steamed" on the coating. My side of past was "OVERCOOKED" NOT AT ALL AL DENTE COOKED PASTA. It was "mushy". The pasta WAS NOT (THIS IS A "REGULAR" occurance here at DeRango's) cooed properly. The pasta is NEVER DRAINED ENOUGH and delutes the red sauce so you have this thin soupy tomato soup. Juice type of slurry on the bottom of the bowl. The pasta is "swimming"in thin watered down juice in the bottom of the bowl. INCONSISTENT FOOD here at DeRango's. I was wondering if the bartender is half deaf. EVERYTIME she empties a liquor bottle she "SLAMS" IT INTO THE TRASH CAUSING A DEAFENING CLANG OF GLASS ON GLASS.....This is so ear hurtful and irritating to your dining customer.

The food and price are good. But the north side location sucks. It's small so it's clear for staff to see you walk in. They don't greet you and just leave you standing there after it's obvious you're the. Only people standing wait g to be seated. We waited a while and no one ever came so we left. It's not the first time it happens here.
