Delicately Delicious

Delicately Delicious is by far my favorite cake spot in Milwaukee area. Their cakes are so tasty and always beautiful. I frequently stop in during strolls through Cedarburg to enjoy their cupcakes (salted caramel & raspberry are my favorites). Jen and the Delicately Delicious team are incredibly generous as well. They helped create the most beautiful cake for Make-A-Wish Wisconsin's 40th Birthday celebration, Wild Wishes. This zoo themed cake was the highlight of the event!

When you're a mom and you can't be with your kid on his birthday, you want to make sure he has an awesome cake...even when he is 23. For several years Delicately Delicious has ensured my son feels the love. This year it was a chocolate cake with cookies-n-cream filling. The talent at DD added a little bling for his golden birthday.Because I am not nearby, I have not actually been to the store. My orders have been placed online, supplemented by phone calls. They staff is always friendly and professional...willing to make up for the mother's guilt of missing a birthday. The second pic is the birthday cake my son bought for his fiancée--she is a beach lover. It was a delicious combination of cake + cheesecake. Mmmm...

Pro tip: If you want something besides cupcakes, you need to order it in advance. It's not like a grocery store where you can just pop in and have them slap some words on a cake.Pro tip: When you schedule your time for pickup, DO NOT COME EARLY. Otherwise you'll be waiting for a while.While Delicately Delicious does not have the most flexible hours of operation, their items are worth the hassle it takes to get them. The cakes are moist and delicious and their artistry is quite impressive.The cupcakes are fantastic, and will keep in the fridge for several days without becoming bricks of sugar and frosting!

I stopped in last minute for a birthday cake and expected only cupcakes - luckily for me they had full cakes too!! I chose one with layers of chocolate and vanilla cake. It had raspberry buttercream in between the layers and the outside was finished in traditional buttercream with chocolate flakes on the outside. I would have never picked this combination myself but everyone at the party enjoyed it!! The buttercream is real and does need to soften at room temperature but it's worth the wait! Typically I make my own cakes but I will be ordering from here from now on.

Think of original buttercream frosting, multilayer cakes with beautiful roses on top of birthday celebration cakes. Also, perfect cupcakes made ahead to order. She bakes amazing works of art. Thank you!

My family and I have been using Delicately Delicious for years and we absolutely LOVE them. I love their treats so much I used them for my bridal shower, wedding, husband's birthday, and other family events. They have SO many flavors of cake, frosting, and fillings-there is literally something for everyone! If you aren't looking for a specialty order they always have cupcakes and other treats that you can purchase in store. I've literally never been let down with their work and every time I use them for a function they are a hit! I'd HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a sweet treat!

Delicately Delicious did it again! Needed a pickleball themed cake for my husband's surprise 60th. Ordering online was easy - just told them what I wanted, gave them a date and time for pick up, and we were ready to go! Pick up was fast and friendly. The cake was so amazing- Chocolate with raspberry between layers. All of my guests commented on the fun cake that was so moist and delicious! And every time I serve these cakes - I get asked over and over again where I bought it!It is so good to have such a great establishment nearby! I'm so lucky!

Update to previous review. We still love delicately delicious. Great custom cakes! You do need to order well in advance, but it's worth the planning!

The cake was tender and melt in your mouth and the light raspberry filling was really delicious. I wanted a second piece!

The cake was delicious and beautiful. they were able to make a cake last minute for me which made me extremely happy. We will be back
