My cousin got married here (July 2022). I was certainly impressed with the place. We were able to get inside and hang out a little while before the ceremony started. The room with the ceremony was set up beautifully, and everything seemed to run smoothly and on time. There was space enough for all of us, I never felt too cramped. The reception area was nice, the food was good enough (as far as wedding catering goes, it was above average), and the bartenders were friendly. It seemed like a conveniently one-stop-shop, with ceremony space, reception space, and lovely looking grounds for photos for the wedding party during cocktail hour. I know nothing about the cost for any of this, any other events for the public they might host. But for this wedding and celebration, it was quite lovely.

Ive been going here for mothers day brunches for a couple of years and last years visit was horrible. The food was gross, way overpriced, and only a few (and I do mean like 3) options for vegetarians. Some stations were out of food completely, while other items were either too cold or too stale to eat from sitting out too long. And whoever was tending the pie station was weird. I took a piece of pie and he tried to get me to eat a different piece of pie. I told him I don't want that kind of pie and I was happy with my selection. As I walked away, he was saying something like I'd regret not trying the pie he insisted on instead or something to that affect. Im a grown woman. I know what kind of pie I like and want. lol The whole mother's day brunch thing was completely disorganized. We walked in and was flat out ignored. I even asked a girl that worked there "excuse me?" and she looked up at me and then continued to talk to her coworker for about 5 mins. As we left, I told someone (cashier?) before we left (upon asking us how everything was) that we were disappointed in the total lack of vegetarian options (especially since it's a huge market these days) and that the food wasn't good. As we looked up this year's brunch menu , we saw the same old tired menu and still zero vegetarian options just like last year. So if you're vegetarian and going here for mothers day brunch, I hope you like made to order omelets because that's pretty much all ya have to pick from. lol

Terrible experience. All of the pancakes, bagels, biscuits were hard. Stems on blueberries. Ladies making omelets had no idea of what they were doing. My complete was runny. Very few options. Taco bar makes the whole event cheap.

Brides and grooms --- BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I found it odd on the Knot how Davians has very positive reviews from 2010-2014 and won the 2012 "best of weddings" award --- however, there aren't any reviews that I came across since 2014. Anyway, I'd like to share our experience with you so that you can be smart and steer clear!!!!!! When you pay thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars for a venue, you expect things to be correct. It wasn't just one or two things that were slip-ups on our big day....it turned into quite the list. Some of these items really aren't a big deal, but it's the fact that it was a growing list that really is what made the situation frustrating. We had our reception there in December 2017, and these are a few of the things that happened:1) The delay between salad and dinner was honestly downright embarrassing. Thank GOODNESS we had an awesome DJ (shout-out to Downtown Harrison!!) that kept the crowd going!!!!2) I was standing in line behind my aunt at the bar when she ordered a Miller Lite around 9pm. The bartender charged her for the beer, even though that was one of the beers we chose to be included in our package. I immediately spoke up, and we then realized that the wrong beers had been on tap the entire night, so our guests were being charged for what should have been included.3) Our best man wasn't served his dinner. He had to go hunt down the server to get his meal.4) We frequently had people coming into our room from the other hall and enjoying our open bar. We let Jeanette know this was occurring at one point, but the issue continued.5) The taco bar (our "late night snack") was VERY poorly tended to. We heard multiple guests complaining that there weren't any chips, silverware, etc. 6) The "free" photo booth that they seem to often promote is ABSOLUTE garbage. It was broken the majority of the night, and not a single guest had their picture printed for them. We completely understand that things happen with technology, but I'm just warning you...and it's the next part of this that really bothers me.7) To make the photo booth situation worse, even pictures that were taken during the limited time the photo booth was operating still have not been given to us as promised. The flash drive they put them on was mailed to the wrong address, and Jeanette from Davians is now not responding to my emails or returning phone calls. 8) Our photographer wasn't pleased when he tried calling Davians to find out what time he could come into the venue to take pictures and never heard back from them. Very poor customer service all around!! So if you're looking for a venue that will provide good service, cooperate with your other vendors, etc., Davians just isn't the place for you!!To say we're disappointed in them is an understatement at this point in time. The day after our reception, when we went to collect our items from the hall, we politely made Jeanette aware of some of these issues. My husband and I were VERY nice about it and made it very clear that we weren't seeking anything but just wanted to provide some constructive criticism and make them aware. The fact that we STILL don't have our photo booth pictures (2.5 months later...) and are not getting ANY response from them is what prompted me to write the review. The greatest "pro" for them is that the hall was decorated very nicely. Other than that, I don't have many positive things to say about this venue.

Both my sister and I had our wedding receptions at Davian's and we couldn't have been happier with the service and attention we got. As a bride, they made my husband and I feel extra special by being really helpful with the needs of all our family members and friends from special diets to wheelchair accessibility. The food is AMAZING and they are flexible to create a menu that fits your event. There is a ton of parking and it is really easy to find.Such wonderful staff!

Davian's hosted a world-class wedding for my wife and I. Tammy treated us like royalty, and was so sweet the whole time. My wife was a little worried that it wouldn't be classy since she had her high school proms there and since it was so inexpensive, but Davian's turned our banquet hall into an extremely classy place. We got so many compliments on the reception, and mostly got compliments on the food! We picked the place based on our small budget, but it turned out to be better than anything 5-10x more expensive in terms of customer service, food quality, atmosphere and everything you can imagine. Tammy, you are awesome, we owe you pictures still :)

They are a food service company that is at a company I work for the prices are outrageous for the food they serve. The old lady on the grill area can not multi-task for nothing when more than 2 people come in she gets frazzled and angry attitude sucks and please don't ask a question as a paying extremely high prices customer oh no that is off limits her attitude goes to the roof and they don't even have the respect to hide when they talking about you they wait just as soon as they think you turned your back and her and they sandwich prep old lady go to whispering. I be wanting to say something so bad but I will not allow myself to jeopardize my job for their ignorance this is not the first or worse incident I reported 2 other incidents to my contact at my job I though it was fixed I had stopped patronizing them for a long time and just started back well not anymore I will bag lunch it o order out they will never get another dime from me ever we need a new contract with a different company they suck myself and a quite few others have a problem with them but what good is that if nobody but me actually say something about them

We attended a wedding here and they did a very nice job with things. Honestly, it's some of the best food we've had off a buffet for a large event. I'm not sure how they would handle a cocktail hour in their lobby if they had all the rooms booked out, as it was pretty cozy with just half of the venue booked.

We used Davians for our wedding. Up until the event, they were very good in terms of communication. Dinner was to be served at 6:30. We were supposed to leave at 9:00. They didn't begin dinner service until 7:30, and guests (and we only had 44) were still slowly being brought out cold food after 8:30. Despite cake serving being part of the contract, I (the groom) had to leave my guests and go find somebody to cut the cake. Then, nobody else was serving it. Finally, the guy who I guess was in charge came inside and sent the crew down to serve out wedding cake to our guests. We left the venue (Northpoint Lighthouse in Milwaukee) at 10:00. DO NOT TRUST DAVIANS!!!!! Our wedding was amazing. And at the end of the day, people ate (about 1/3 got cold food). But for me to have to get involved during the most important day in my life to get these people to work is completely unacceptable. NEVER USE THEM. You will regret it.
