Tried calling this restaurant to place a pickup order, but just got a recording stating the mailbox was full and a disconnect. I Do Not want to order through a delivery service. I want to order from the restaurant and pickup the order. What is So hard about that?! Not recommending this place anymore. Customer service is gone way down.

Dairyland is like a non-franchised version of Cracker Barrel, without the kitsch. The menu was right at the epicenter of "American cuisine". The portions were enormous and uniformly very tasty. The service was warm, competent and just the right amount of attention without being over our shoulders. The soups were particularly good. Everything certainly seemed to have been prepared fresh. Our only regret was that we were too full to sample the very tempting desert menu. Nothing like a slice of carrot cake to top off a meal right from the heartland.

While in town visiting my daughter we stopped in for lunch. Anyone who has ever seen my posts should know that I love Diner foods. It's like stepping back in American history for a meal. My daughter had a chicken melt that she very much enjoyed along with tasty fries. . I had the open faced turkey sandwich w mashed potatoes and gravy. The folks at the restaurant "staff" treated us like locals. We look forward to returning for dinner very soon.

Diner classical done well. We had breakfast today, first visit. Irish benedict with poached eggs was sizeable portion and eggs really done well ... thickened yolk. Wife had eggs & cakes. Good quality thick bacon, tasty Pancakes. Over medium eggs not as well cooked, but still fine. Prices are fair for what you get, reasonable value. Not cheap, but fair. We would come back to try lunch and other breakfast items.Server was very helpful, and kept us taken care of. She didn't make fun of wife's GA accent either LOL

Welcoming family-friendly diner in the eastern portion of Madison. Staff is always friendly and breakfast is delivered quickly by an efficient kitchen.Omelets are of the "flat top and roll" variety, coffee is good, and the kids love their Mickey Mouse pancake and bacon breakfast. **BONUS** Choose the biscuit!Always a stop when visiting the area. I would suggest that you give it a go as well!

I have not been back to Dairyland in about a year.Placed an order for Pancakes and Sausage.The Pancakes were about the same as last time,but instead of Syrup, they gave me a 'Sweetened Water in a Bottle! I knew it was water because itsank into the Pancakes immediately. Syrup willNOT do that.The Sausage Links were COLD.The price was about 80 - 100% higher than lasttime.I will NOT return. There are better options atEast Madison.
