Cup and Cake Bakeshop

Yes! A cupcake shop and other sweet treats has saddled up in the facelift of Beloit's downtown. These sweets treats are a welcomed addition. The shop itself is clean and fairly sparse. I would imagine that this has to do with the business just opening. My understanding is the baker has been baking for about 6 years now and had a business out of Roscoe. The service was friendly, the cupcakes were awesome! As it sits right now, coffee and tea is limited. My understanding is this is changing in the very near future. My pipe dream would be for them to be able to offer espresso, that said, either way I will be back. The cupcakes are pretty amazing and not overly sweet with the cake part moist. We also tried the chocolate covered bacon. It is salty goodness and absolutely something I would splurge on There is a little bit of everything; to please even the most pickiest of palates. I wish Cup and Cakes the best of luck with this new endeavor and of course Welcome to Beloit!
