This place is part retro diner and part cheese shop - open year round. The diner is solid and a very inexpensive place to eat - mostly burgers, sandwiches, a huge variety of fried things. For the adventurous, they offer braunschweiger and/or farmer cheese sandwiches. The milkshakes and ice cream are great. The cheese shop has an great variety of cheese and local products (butter, cottage cheese, deli meats). Their cheese is focused on the classic yellow/white variety which is a bit bland, but very inexpensive. If you are up for something a bit "diapery" -- try the farmer's cheese. The huge party platters seem like a great deal, so keep those in mind.

We have been coming here for years and always had a great, reasonable priced meal. Unfortunately, the quality is sliding. On our last visit: - There was raw egg white on the omelet - Two people were served cold eggs - The biscuits and gravy aren't even biscuits. They are English muffins. Pass. - One person was served burnt scrambled eggs There prices are still good and food is good overall but they need to tighten up quality control. Otherwise I don't think the restaurant will be around another year from now.

Cheap, a throwback vibe, friendly service and artery clogging food.So glad to see that this place is exactly the same as it was when i was a little kid coming with my grandparents for a cheeseburger and a shake. The food is dirt cheap. My Roast Pork & Gravy Plate was pure comfort food for less then $5.00. Two slices of bread, shredded roast pork, mash potatoes with gravy poured on top. The Cheese Curds were huge nuggets of cheese with a thin layer of breading. Juicy Cheeseburger and huge crunchy Onion Rings. The Banana Split was a true old fashion split. A scoop of vanilla, strawberry, chocolate ice cream, fudge, caramel, strawberry sauce with whip cream, nuts and a cherry on top. They have a cheese case and another cooler selling other dairy products. Along with maple syrup, honey, dry mixes, cow pies and other dry wisconsin products on the shelves. Come here for breakfest, lunch or dinner if you want cheap greasy comfort food and don't forget a malt or sundae. The ice cream is made on site.

Food is extremely cheap and a decent value. Some things are better than others. My hybrid sandwich made by putting a fried chicken sandwich together with the grilled ham and cheese sandwich and adding bacon was only about $6.50 lol. It was really good. The chicken was most and crunchy. The cheese was melty and tasted good. The bacon was a little overcooked for my taste but I know some people like bacon super crunchy. My dad's turkey dinner was bad. Basically just cold cuts of Turkey hatred up with weak canned gravy that tasted like flour and water and nothing else. My wife's malt was great with little flecks of ice that helped keep it super cold.Overall very solid. Nothing spectacular but service was nice and friendly and accommodating to help me make my hybrid sandwich.

We've been going to Crystal Creek for breakfast and cheese for years. My husband's family is from the area. Recently my sister-in-law surprised us with a shipment of cheese from Crystal Creek. Unfortunately it was shipped without any dry ice, any label of being perishable and sent via USPS, by Crystal Creek. It showed up with cheese oil soaked through the box and a complete melty mess. Sadly my sister-in-law called Crystal Creek to let them know what happened and see if they'd make it right or refund some of her money. The lady chastised her for calling on a Monday and hung up on her. We are looking for forward to letting all our friends and family know that they ruined this surprise for us and then felt the need to ruin my sister's morning.

My favorite place to eat in beaver dam/surrounding areas. Very reasonably priced for the quality and taste of the food. Cute retro vibes can be found here along with delicious cheese spreads.

This little cheese house is the best. We buy our syrup and cheese from here. The string cheese is the best I've ever had. Forget buying cheese or syrup from the grocery stores. We cannot wait to try a few more things from Crystal Creek Dairy House in the near future. This place is a nice little gem just outside of Beaver Dam city limits.

I have been ordering cheese and sausage for shipping for decades, but this will be the last time. I ordered gift boxes, and got MOST of the items that were to go in each gift box, but there were no actual gift boxes, just cardboard shipping boxes. Because of the items missing, the boxes were half empty. The merchandise could have fit into 2 boxes, but they shipped 4 boxes, which cost additional money. I really love their cheese and sausage, but will find a new place to order from now.
