Creed’s Foggy Dew

Service and atmosphere were fantastic!Popped in here over the holidays for the first time. The bartender was incredibly welcoming and warm and gave us his full attention even though there were plenty of other people already at the bar. As a first timer, that really made me want to return. The atmosphere was so cozy. The lighting and temperature were warm and the music was at a good level - not too loud, not too quiet.Though they don't have a pool table - which is what we were after - they have plenty of board games. We had a beer each and played several rounds of Shut the Box. Thanks for the great service! We will definitely be returning with friends.

As soon as I walked into Foggy Dew I felt comfortable. There was something different about this bar, although the clientele looked typically Milwaukee South Side. They were polite, kind and welcoming. The guy sitting next to me gave up his seat for my friend. I bought him a drink to thank him, but he didn't acknowledge it, probably embarrassed. That's typical of Foggy Dew. Nick was our bartender, and he was friendly and answered my barrage of questions. Foggy Dew will be a destination bar for me. The decor was unique, but the differences were subtle. I loved the fact the Dew was in a residential neighborhood. That added to its panache. It was a cool bar. I liked it. I think you will too.

Best bar In milwaukee. They somehow managed to get the best bartenders in the city. Cheers

Friendly neighbor place. Quick service , nice locals, easy parking. We went on a Saturday afternoon to meet friends. The place was busy but it was still easy to get seats together at the bar

Well jeez oh Pete, let me tell you about the sweetest middle of block bar this side of the Mississippi. It goes by the name of Creed's Foggy Dew. It's got a dog on the sign, so you know they are good folk. This place is just a fantastic little dive with great bartenders, all of whom do the best job of making you feel right at home. I really mean this. I am a frequent patron of this watering hole and I haven't met a group of more friend, friend, friendliest people since Bing Crosby tap-danced with Danny Kaye! It's warm, it's got a pool table, it's got sports and you can't go wrong with having a good time. So stop on in and tell Aase, Aubrey, Annie, Brenden, Joey, or PK that Patrick sent you and I'll buy you a shot or a beer! Disclaimer: These folks take each other's health seriously, so please mask up and be kind to one another!

Love love love this place. Owned by the same people as the Bay View icon The Newport, it's got a great hometown bar vibe. The bar tenders remember your name and are always super friendly and helpful. They've got gambling games, a pool table, and TouchTunes. They don't have food beyond chips but may have pizza available in the future!

I used to really enjoy this neighborhood bar until a few nights ago. I went in with a friend from about 8pm to 1am. The bartender, Paul, bought us a shot and also took another shot with me a short while after. He was being super friendly & chatted us up all night! Two other regulars came in that I knew and as this was my first time meeting this bartender, I said "oh you know them!?" And he said "yes, I run with the whites... so you" and being a half black person I said, "well actually I'm black too". From that moment his whole demeanor towards me changed... he became aggressive and began calling me a b**** and rude. For seemingly no reason. I wound up leaving because he told me he doesn't need my kind here as a customer. Fast forward, I speak with the owner about it and the employee is making up lies to cover his own ass because he realized he messed up. Not only that but the owner said "we don't know what customers come in here, they could be mentally unstable"...Disappointed. Micro-racism at its finest.

Go to RedBar instead. Bartender Paul is rude and tried starting a fight with my boyfriend which resulted in Paul getting physical (ie trying to choke him) with a CUSTOMER. Won't be going to this bar again. Read another review that complained about this same employee and now I'm confused how this man is still employed at this establishment. We are going to contact the owner, but the previous review also said how the owner was unresponsive. Don't give this place your business. Go to RedBar down the street instead.*Update: Owner has been deleting all negative reviews on Facebook and Google and tried getting this review on Yelp taken down. I feel like fixing your business practices/employees behavior would've been a faster and easier approach to this but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Great new place to meet an old friend. Welcoming regulars, cheap shots, Busch Light + Apple Crown = Busch Light Apple.

Excellent neighborhood bar! Love the people! Friendly, clean, and updated! My whiskeys always fresh, and the jokes are never too old.
