Crawfish Junction

I was there on a Saturday evening. I went for the Saturday special Prime Rib Au Jus. Price was reasonable. It was filling. Meat was good. Asparagus was the side vegetable, which was good. For the choice of side, I went with with French onion soup, which was ok.

A family member had driven by this place a bunch of times and thought it looked like a cute place to enjoy a Friday fish fry. So we made the drive out to this place and were not disappointed. This seemed like a down-to-earth local place with good food and good drinks. We arrived relatively early so it wasn't super busy yet, but we opted to wait to be seated until a little later and enjoy an old fashioned out on their patio. The old fashioned was very good. The patio is up close to the road with an area of trees just beyond that. It is nice to watch cars roll by the country roads and enjoy the greenery beyond. It was definitely getting steadily busier and by the time we went in to be seated, it was a full house. Friendly staff and good service. I ordered my usual cod fish fry, and I am a big fan of their fish fry. The breading was light but crispy, the bread and butter was soft and flavorful. The french fries were delicious, and we all commented on how good they were. There was absolutely no need for ketchup with these. I would definitely come here again.

What a gem and only 30 minutes east of Madison! Went for lunch on a Friday with a friend and we both got the large cod dinner with fries and started with the cheese curds. Everything was fresh tasting and hot and the ranch was really good! Portions were the perfect amount, and our bartender was super friendly and the food came my fast! I'll be back!

Timely dinner service,especially for a Friday Fish Fry. Crispy sweet potato fries, tasty lightly creamy coleslaw with baked cod. All in perfect portions. Grandson loved the alligator bites!

Tip: as of 2022 seafood is served Fridays after 1pmI am highly disappointed in this place, mainly because the previous reviews about this place hyped this place up way too much. I ordered the walleye with a side of mashed potatoes...there was absolutely nothing special about my dish. The fish had zero seasoning and tasted gross while my mashed potatoes tasted way too salty. My husband ordered a shrimp basket that only included 7 small shrimp. Once again, nothing special about the flavor. This place is overpriced for serving such basic food. Sadly I won't be coming back here again. They also charged us .50 cents per take-out container. Overall this place sucks. Don't come here!

My spouse and I met our daughter here for a quick Sunday lunch back in November. I had the Philly, souse to e Tilly, and daughter the chicken tenders, they were the Sunday special. Our cheesesteaks were decent. Nothing special about them, a good bar sandwich. The fries were quite good. My daughter like the tenders. The service was prompt and the bar was very clean with a lot of space in the dining area. Overall an average Wisconsin bar meal.

I suspect this is one of those places where if you know, you know. Thanks to Yelp, I found this off the beaten path bar and grill passing between Madison and Milwaukee on a Friday at lunch time. We wanted to sit outside, which was right on the street which wasn't terribly busy in this locale. Alligator bites for my mate and fish fry for me and some sodas all fine. Also as a former southern resident, though I don't eat gator or crawfish, they are here! So that's a plus! Some different options in addition to burgers, wings, steaks.Had to generate service from staff for attention. Overall Crawfish Junction is worth maneuvering off the interstate for to support local and avoid the chains.

Found this fun little gem driving from Milwaukee to Madison. Monday special 1/4 lb burger with cheese and all the fixings for $2.50, a steal. Burger was very good and the bun was awesome, perfect size. Nice front patio, very clean and an impressive bar and beer garden in the back. Will definitely stop again for more specials!

Great find!Went to the Aztalan Museum and State Park for the day and wanted something to eat after. We weren't sure of what places were in the area but came across this place when searching for restaurants nearby. Hostess, Beth, was very friendly and informative when asking for recommendations, she seemed to know her stuff. We were seated right away and waiter came over not too long after. Food and drinks were ordered but unfortunately when the food came my burger was very undercooked for my liking. I asked for medium well and it was somewhat between rare to medium. After a little convincing the waiter took it back and had them cook it a little longer. Once it came back it was cooked just how I like my burgers and it was very good. Both burgers and fries were very tasty. Just wanted to mention while we were eating we were talking with Beth again about things to do in the area since we're from Milwaukee and she was so nice and knew about quite a bit. She's awesome!I would definitely recommend this place as I will absolutely go back!

Hats off to Crawfish Junction for serving an amazing Mother's Day Brunch! It was a beautiful presentation of fresh and flavorful choices... Smoked salmon, colorful salads, shrimp cocktail, quiche, eggs Benedict and omelets to order were only the beginning. My husband requested an end cut of Prime Rib and said it was delicious. Finishing it off with an array of fabulous desserts by Armando, well all I can say is WOW. We will be back, their Saturday night Supper Club menu looks fabulous!
