This is the 3rd time I have came to Crafty Cow. Each time the food is phenomenal. This time came in on a Friday & turns out the have ALL YOU CAN EAT Chicken Tenders. For how massive they are, I ended up having just one refill. Starts off with 3 tenders plus great waffle fries. The Nashville Hot Sauce on the side is top notch. For $19 you get far more food than you pay for. Great place & if I lived closer to here I would definitely be a regular customer. Before I have gotten the Nashville Chicken Ramen & it had a great kick. Also have gotten the Chicken Biscuit Sandwich & was amazing.

I was Hangry, driving down KK about 11:40 am on a weekday, and the only parking place available was close to Crafty Cow. So I gave it a try. Service: 5.0. OMG she was gracious and attentive. Food: 2.0. My stuffed mushroom swiss burger took about 25 minutes. Impressively tall. Dry as heck. Bun dry and stale. Fries cold and stale. She graciously took them back and I got a fresh serving shortly. Value: 1.0. My tab with tip was $38.00 for a beverage burger and fries. Ouch. Ambience is kind of fun and cozy. Come to drink and hang out with friends. Hit up Oscars if you want a great burger.

Critic Rating: 3.28Scores:- Food: 3.0 * 30% = 0.900- Service: 5.0 * 20% = 1.000- Value for Money: 2.0 * 20% = 0.400- Ambiance: 2.0 * 15% = 0.300- Uniqueness: 4.5 * 15% = 0.675___________________________________________Comments:Dinner Hero, Breakfast ZeroMy post-brunch breakfast experience at this Crafty Cow location was, unfortunately, a disappointment. My scores reflect a combination of both the breakfast and dinner menus. Food (3.00): A bar isn't a brunch spot--yet. I've rarely had an eggs benedict I didn't like, but the pork belly benedict was particularly unpleasant, with the extra fat not compensating for the squishy texture, well-done yolk (a cardinal sin), and flavorless hollandaise that failed to bring the dish together. The chicken and waffle dish was another letdown--two disconnected elements slapped together and served in a metal trough, you filthy animal. Chic-Fil-A may have an edge.Service (5.00):One important saving grace was our server, who was attentive, accommodating, and a highlight of our experience. Value (2.00):Breakfast should feel indulgent yet approachable. The final bill felt excessive for a meal we barely enjoyed. Prices are steep relative to other breakfast peers within the niche. Perhaps my value perception is blurred, but a $15 eggs benedict that fails on nearly every front, $5-$7 add-ons, and a 20% tip may just be the price of disappointment. Ambiance (2.00):The setting was underwhelming. The "Pour Decisions" LED sign bordered on cringe, and seating our party of six at the table closest to the drafty entryway in an otherwise empty restaurant felt thoughtless. The absence of background music only amplified the weird atmosphere, clearly left in place for the night crowd. Luckily, the good company of family is always full of shenanigans and laughter. Uniqueness (4.50):Crafty Cow has carved out a reputation for its inventive dinner menu, a lineup of daring and flavorful burgers that undoubtedly sets the brand apart. From additions like marshmallow fluff and guacamole to seasonal specials, Crafty Cow has an expansive menu that deserves praise.Final Thoughts:Not quite a full-day destination. A bar may excel at pouring pints and crafting bold burgers, but breakfast demands an entirely different finesse. I'll advise diners to save their appetite for dinner; this brunch offering is simply not worth the trip. Stick to what they do best--burgers--and leave the benedict to the pros. Suggestion: Crafty Cow is a dinner destination at heart, and therein lies the struggle with breakfast. Your unique identity as a bold, creative culinary destination must translate across every meal you serve. Crafty Cow has the potential to be great at any time of day, but you must separate identities between morning and night. Understand the mindset of the morning crowd, adapt to their expectations, and elevate your brunch experience. Reassess your seating strategy, especially in off-peak hours. When your value proposition is incongruent with the quality of your offering, guests feel they've overpaid and are unlikely to return for more. With great expectations,Tastebud Titan

I went to Crafty Cow in Bay View for brunch with my family on a weekend morning. I made a reservation for a table for 6, but really didn't need it as the place was almost totally empty at 10:30am on a Sunday. The service was good, but the food left me wanting. I tried the chili crisp and pork belly benedict. When you order an eggs benedict, you expect the egg yolk to be runny, and mine was not. The biscuit that the benedict was served on was good, but the pork belly was cold and quite undercooked. The side of cheese potatoes was simply breakfast potatoes tossed in a bland cheese sauce. This very well could have been a one-off experience, but my boyfriend ordered the same dish and had the same issues as me with his food that day. I was expecting to like the brunch service at Crafty Cow because I had a really great and unique burger for dinner service just a few months before. (I had a burger served on a croissant with peanut butter and marshmallow fluff and loved it.) It seems like lots of other reviewers have had great experiences at Crafty Cow, so maybe I'll have to give it another try for brunch sometime for a second impression.

After running around for an hour in an attempt to find a restaurant my friend was willing to dine at, I slammed into Crafty Cow, my friend in tow, hungry enough to eat a Holstein. We found two seats at the bar, and I snatched a menu out of the bartender's hand as if she were handing me a winning lottery ticket. We ordered two drinks, and the barkeep suggested the Smash Burger. Bring it on! A large burger arrived soon after with an appearance similar to what I remembered at Kopp's. The burger had the same size and texture, but this was a smash burger filled with goodies, and this Crafty Cow burger tasted better than the Kopps burger. Before you could say "really," I finished the burger and the perfectly cooked fries. It was delicious. I struck up a conversation with a gentleman at the bar from Cuba, and we discussed that country's energy crisis, music, and ballet. That discussion catered to my needs and was unique enough to make my Crafty Cow experience five stars. While Crafty Cow isn't gourmet, it does what it sets out to do perfectly.

Horrible food and service first couple times i ordered I was happy, this last time my burger wasn't cooked all the way there was more bun then burger the condiments were sloppy. I went and picked my order up staff was rude. I called and complained was on the phone for about 15 mins talked to two different people got put on hold to find out this is an ongoing issue and that the general manager will get back to me the next day and it could be a couple days before I see a refund . Didn't hear anything the next day it was around the holidays so I wanted until after the weekend called no answer I had to call doors to get a refund which normally they don't do anything after 24 hours but I explained in detail and even had pictures. I got my full refund. They probably thought I'd forget about and know about the DoorDash police I don't know . But that was unprofessional .

This is the second time we've come and their food is always fantastic. This is the only place I will get a burger with lettuce tomato and onion because it's so fresh and crunchy. We also got the cheese curds and they don't taste like any other curds I've had they're very light and airy cheese curds, it's refreshing. My sister got the elote loaded nachos and really liked them, they definitely were spicier because their kid liked the corn but then would cry after he ate it each time. The honey butter chicken sandwich had just a little too much butter on it but it was pretty good.Very small town bar feels and it was a very comfortable place. They were a little slow but I think it was because they're understaffed. The food came quick. And the waiters were working hard and took the time to give referrals on what was good. Overall definitely not the last time coming.

This is my second time here and I got the lunch special that came with 2 meals and an appetizer/dessert. The cheese curds were too soft and not that cheesy... mostly just fried. The deal is good but the food isn't as great as I expected. I would say it's just OK. The chicken is good but the skin kept coming off but the Mac was good and the waffles. The water was also kinda nasty... cute place though!

The food was delicious but it was the service that sold it for me. I've never been to a restaurant with such a NICE staff and it was so appreciated and added to the experience.
