This place is in need of some curb appeal, the interior is dated and the atmosphere is lonely but I can tell you that this establishment is one of the best kept secrets of Bay View. The owners run the whole operation, from the hosting, serving, cooking, and cleaning. You don't see that anymore. The waitress (owner) was incredibly friendly and talked to us during our stay about the history of the restaurant and the ingredients of the menu items. She attended us like a mother would, tenderly and with genuine care. All items we ordered were outstanding. The scallops were like butter, the homemade paste melted in your mouth. Even the homemade French salad dressing was so spectacular that I jokingly asked for a bottle to take home and the waitress brought me a container full of it at no charge. There was no room for dessert but overall what started as an odd experience turned into an excellent adventure through time with amazing food. Don't judge a book by its cover. Do yourself a favor and check out this place.

Good prices. Went for a fish fry 2 times. The service is great and very old school. The owners greeter us and told us about the menu. They make their own pasta if you're in to that. I tried it and couldn't tell the difference between that and store bought. Not very crowded and the decor is right out of 84'. I would definitely recommend this place. I'd give it 3.5 stars

This place was probably built in the 50's and never changed since. The problem is, while it's fully retro by default, it doesn't have the appeal of a place like At Random or Bryants at all.The creepy factor is high here: No windows, TVs with dials to change the channel, a parking lot full of RV's.Came here with some friends on a Friday night just to satisfy our curiosity of what is inside this windowless bar/restaurant. Had a drink each at the large bar, then they kicked us out because they were closing... At 9 pm... On a Friday!

Crabby's is across the street from my house. I also grew up in Bay View and had never been into the place. Formally Francisco's Pizza, same owners, new schtick. It sits there on the corner of KK and Oklahoma looking ominous. It looks dark. You rarely see anyone come and go. There is a small parking lot full of broke down RVs in the back. Let's face it, it's not inviting. They have no website so you can't see the menu ahead of time. The reasons I haven't been in until now are clear.Stopped in finally a couple of weeks ago. I love the inside. It's got a loungey supper club feel to it. They have and enormous bar area with a great set up for groups! I was surprised. It was large, airy, and clean. The owners were the only ones there, she was waitressing and he was behind the bar. Sweet, adorable older couple. We were the only people in the place on a Wednesday at 7. Never a good sign. She told us how they've owned it forever and redid it in the 90's. Yes people, that decor is not original. She seemed a little sad and I was sad there were only two of us there. The menu is big. Lots of seafood and pricey. We opted for pizza since we weren't looking for a fancy meal. It was decent and well priced. I had a Manhattan (Because that's what I do), it was spot on. I really, really, really, wish I liked this place more. Don't get me wrong, I will totally go back. I love the old school vibe and if I just want some pizza and a drink, what the heck it's across the street. The owners have had it forever and I would love to see them become successful as long time members of the community.

Bill will tell you that the only thing NOT made from scratch at this place is the French Fries; I can attest! Right down to the salad dressing! The pasta is amazing! The sauce is perfect (I have a touchy stomach)! The soup delicious! The fish & seafood are done right (I'm a seafood snob, raised on the east coast). It's a "mom & pop" establishment (for the past 50 years...), not Lake Park Bistro; there's no hostess or Maitre D'.Come hungry. Be friendly. Leave full & happy! C'est la Vie!

I'm not sure why people claim the service here is so bad. We were greeted promptly, and our waitress was incredibly friendly. The interior is great because it's legitimate vintage, not an idealized or imagined vintage like Boone & Crocket. Both types of design are great, but it's nice to go some place that retains the look and feel of a decades old supper club. The soup and salad weren't anything to write home about, but they were fine. The fish fry, though, that's where it's at. Absolutely fantastic. Very happy with our meal. I only wish they had a wider beer selection.

We needed to find a place to eat before getting on the ferry to Michigan. We walked in and it was empty, we took the only table that would seat 5 of us, and the man said we can't sit there because it will block the way for other customers. The waitress was a mean old lady who treated us with rudeness and was very short tempered with us.The food was not too bad, considering the atmosphere. We had crab rangoons & shrimp scampi.I will never go back to this place.I think I would say this place was terrible on all levels.

Three of us went for Friday night fish fry. The place was literally empty! Now I know why. The greeting was cold and as if we were in a place that did NOT want us there. I ordered perch fillets as my entree. The other two ordered cod. Our server stood across the dining room, arms crossed, and watched us like a hawk stalking prey. Uncomforting... like we might steal the flatware! Our salads arrived. Every one of them seemed watered down, like to make the dressing go further. The bread served seemed a week old dry. My perch arrived so thinly sliced that any amount of pan frying could've overcooked it. It was near inedible. The others' cod was average at best. Mrs Paul's has no competition here. We were never asked how the food was. Just a bill dropped off without a thank-you. Crabby's is a name that fits perfectly there. It's a "never again" for us!

Great old school bar with photos of Milwaukee's past. An old supper club feel. The prices are extremely inexpensive. I ordered some appetizers they were all of them were great. Everything made at crabbys is from scratch.

The food was nothing special. I had a chicken parmesan sandwich. It was okay. The inside felt as if it was frozen in time and renovations were last done in the 70s. I was in there for an hour and me and my friend were the only customers in the dining room. A few guys at the bar, I'll assume they were locals.I was always curious about this place. I'll take it off the bucket list. I don't think I'd go back. Too many other places I want to check out. Sorry, not my best review, I'm watching Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb.
