Crab & Grab

Food: ok. We had the trifecta (spicy Cajun spice, lemon pepper and garlic butter). Had a sweetness to it. Portion size for 2 was ideal. Just enough food to hit the spot. Service: fine. Ambiance: cute decor. Sink near bar where you can wash your hands. (They don't have alcohol on the menu.)Overall: cool please.

A great place for seafood boil! Not many places in Lake county with this selection of food and it was great! Server was attentive and speedy made sure we had everything we needed. Drinks are individual bottles, so they are taking care of customers with COVID scares. He was on top of the service and gave a great dining experience. Joked a bit, attentive, and constantly making sure we had space at our table.

My daughter decided to treat us to some seafood. We were really sad when sake sake closed down, but we're excited when we found out it was going to be a seafood restaurant. The food was good. The boil bags were well seasoned, and well portioned. For 4 people, our bill came out to $180. Not terrible for crab ‍ Cons- canned/bottled drinks only. Which means no refills. And they're priced $2 & up. The crab fried rice was extremely bland. I would not order that again. Our server was nice. He took us in at 7:45pm when the restaurant closes at 8:30. (We were headed out at that time!) he was the only server and was busting his butt to wait tables and take to go orders. Would absolutely come here again

I just visited after golfing! It was so delicious than I expected! I visited other Louisiana style crab in IL, this place is best taste-(not too salty, not too hot) than others! I will definitely visit again. (In the picture: Cajun Elotes, Cajun ShrimpHeadless Shrimp,Seafood Boil)

Horrible food!!! we ordered this for the first time yesterday and is just horrible. It was bad the fish was dry. The rice was bad. We ordered a salmon salad and salmon looked like bologna. It was just horrible. We should've took the food back, but we did not never going there again ever!!

The trifecta sauce on any seafood boil type is the BOMB! It is pricey but well worth it in the Lake County, IL area.

Food was subpar. Crab rice taste like water, butter and garlic. Shrimp were frozen shrimp from a box. Seasoning on boiled shrimp was bland; I had to ask for more Old Bay. Best thing I ate was the hush puppies and French fries. Was not worth $75; I can make better seafood at home.

very friendly service , Crab was Very good. unfortunatley the shrimp was filthy.. the garlic biscuits are so delish!

I wish i could give it no stars . The grab legs were old and over cooked. The sauce was not but oil salt and butter everything is extra it was $1.00 for one egg that was undercooked . My gf usally never complains. Her food was NASTY ! Our bill was $108 for two seafood boils. What i will say i did tell the issuse thr father did nothing . The son was a nice guy he took $10 off the bill still was $108 i really feel thats a lot for a bag full of SH***.
