The food is absolutely amazing here. Been here plenty of times. They just added a tortilla soup and it's amazing. Employees are great, service fantastic. The Mechilads are addictive.

3.5Very nice Mexican restaurant in Milwaukee. Overall, I'd go back on a day other than Sunday since their specials look a lot more affordable than their regular fare. The dishes are more on the salty side, so be ready for some flavor fullness. This is especially true since I skipped the tortillas (b/c keto), so maybe ask for a little less salt when ordering?The difference between steak ranchero and the carne asada was the size and that the asada came in a sizzling skillet, like fajitas. The carne asada definitely looked more appetizing, though the meat tasted very much similar. The steak ranchero came in one plate, with the sides on one side and veggies atop the meat. The sides for the asada came in a separate plate and the meat came on top of grilled veggies, all sizzling on a skillet. The meat tasted the same. The tacos with beef were good but kind of salty as the rest of the food, according to the friend who had it. Server was very nice and tended to our needs just as needed.

Syrup margaritas not fresh. The chicken is dry and stringy almost like it was freeze dried or frozen and thawed. Nothing tastes fresh. This is near my house so I have stopped 5-6 times and each time it only reminds me why I never go here. Tsunami is good for seafood, but Azteca in S. Milwaukee has the best food and freshest margaritas in town. Skip this place. Super yuck.

This place is flavorless and gross. Three times I've tried it and I'm officially done. They can't even make a cheese quesadilla taste good. Not to mention every single time we've gone they get our order wrong. How do you mess up two ACP's and a cheese quesadilla??

Some food was too spicy. Fast delivery on Door Dash. Came in foil so hard to microwave.

Great food, good service. Very rarely do we encounter a wait. They are good at getting everything turned around quick, without making you feel rushed. They are a favorite of ours for door dash as well. They package everything so it gets to you the way I'd was supposed to be. The taquitos are a crowd favorite in our family..

In the past I've given them a 5 rating. Today I'm giving them a 1 The food tasted very greasy, and tasted off, completely different from previous orders. I'm unsure if they were in a rush, or there was a different cook who prepared it. Either way it didn't taste the same. I also found a large bone in my burrito. Pic attached. Going forward I will not be ordering from here any more. Sucks, because we ordered from them a lot and we love to support small businesses, even if the food costs a lot, like it does here. My burrito was $17, no sides etc. Time for us to look elsewhere again.

New Restaurant in the area, needed to try. Attentive staff,good atmosphere and great music! Clean and welcoming makes you feel like at home. Food is good with lots of flavors, not overly spicy or salty. Their salsa was a bit to sweet for my taste but once I added the spicy salsa to it, that did it for me. The menu have a wide variety of authentic and contemporary Mexican food. Shrimp dinner was excellent and The molcajete...one of the BEST ONE by far! definitely will come back for that soon.

Came here with my fiancé to give it a try for our first time, he ordered a quesadilla and there was no cheese on it, he then told the server and they brought it back with very little cheese and when we got the bill they tried to charge us for a side of cheese which I thought a quesadilla was supposed to have cheese on it but I guess I could be wrong..We spoke to the manager on duty and he claimed there was a lot of cheese on it.. we will not be coming here again.Only giving a one star review because of how fast service was.
