This is must go place to eat. Their food, Bakery and breakfast is homemade and you can't beat the service. Not just any old menu food, yes you must stop here. Only downfall is that they close at 2;00 and no one wants to leave that wonderful food.

This place is a Gem hidden in plain view. Extremely pleasant and fun servers. There menu is a breakfast brunch style and has so many tasty sounding choices we will be returning to try different dishes. The portions were very fair and our choices were yummy. Lots of windows makes for a bright sunny fun place to enjoy your lunch or breakfast.

Nice stop for breakfast. We have pasted by this place many times taking kids to camp. Today we were on vacation and stopped for breakfast. We also picked up some slices of cake and other bakery items. We stopped in around 10:30am and it was fairly busy even at that time. The food came quickly and everyone was friendly. It was a rainy day though and there are some flooding spots in the parking lot. We would stop in again.

Best. Homemade. Walnut. Cookies. Ever. This place is definitely a must-visit and is tucked away in the country (but yet close to the highway). The food is fresh, homemade and served with a smile. I love the sandwich combos here and it's one of the better places in the area for a tuna sandwich and soup. My favorite thing about Country Rose is the bakery and its delicious selection of baked goods. I highly recommend the walnut cookies since they are buttery and melt-in-your-mouth. They also have cakes, cinnamon rolls and other homemade items. During the holidays they have this huge real- Christmas tree in the middle of the restaurant. Definitely stop by for carry-out and make sure you get a cookie!

I was so excited to try this place. My husband and I have been trying restaurants since we moved to Racine area a few years ago. First, the booth we sat in had a 'hole' of sorts in the bench. It was inside the seat and I sunk down until I felt like I was sitting in a hole. The edge of the booth dug into the backs of my thighs. Very uncomfortable. They sat us at a dirty table so we sat there while someone swiped a dingy wet cloth over the table. Still, I'm all about the food. I ordered pancakes and sausage. Husband ordered French toast. It took a long time to arrive. Probably 25 min or so. The good news is, the French toast my husband had was good, according to him. It looked wonderful. My pancakes, however, were literally the worst pancakes I've ever had. Heavy and pasty with raw flour taste. They were huge, but I couldn't image how anyone could eat a whole one. I was so disappointed and that night, made pancakes for dinner because I had really been wanting pancakes and these were so disappointing. I think I had three bites and that was it.

If you'd like to get the worst service in Bristol, this is your place. Absolutely rude staff, and the longest wait for food with no service in between (filling up glasses etc.) The wait for food was 50 mins and they didn't say anything about why until questioned about it. Upon being questioned one of the wait staff got all in my grandmothers face and was incredibly rude about a take out order that they received "before" our order which somehow means everyone in the resteraunt should wait an hour for their food so that a take out order can be completed. After we finally ate (with an antsy toddler amidst us; who might I add was already 15 mins past her normal nap time) we decided to talk to the manager. The manager was copacetic; but the waitress again got in our face and said "Well good, we don't want you back".
