Country Maid

Country Maid products are the finest! I am a huge fan of the Deviled Egg Potato Salad. I would highly recommend this for parties or regular everyday side dish at home. Absolutely fabulous. I can honestly say I have never had a better potato salad in my life (sorry Grandma). Try it today!!!!!!

I stopped in after the lunch rush but the parking lot was still full of cars. It must have been all employees because I was the only customer in the store. There were two employees there who ignored my existence until I was standing at the register to check out. I bought prepackaged coleslaw and German potato salad from the refrigerated case. I would have bought more but the vibe there was so odd that I was just happy to leave. This probably would be a one star for the service. But the potato salad and coleslaw were great. Despite the service, I would definitely go there again. I plan on stocking up on their items for any get togethers.

This is truly a hidden gem, especially if you frequently picnic, tailgate or just don't want to spend the time to make delicious sides from scratch.County Maid has been a Bayview institution for many years. And their retail store is the perfect spot to find all the salads, and jellos and dips you find in grocery store delis, for a fraction of the price.There are four to five kinds of coleslaw, seven to eight potato salad varieties, dips of all kinds and jellos and fluffs in every color and flavor of the rainbow.Most one pound containers are 99 cents to $2, and some offering come in three or five pound sizes as well.My favorites, which have always been in stock, are:Taco Dip - granted, I could probably make this at home. But sometimes you just need a dip on the fly and this one is fantastic. It's the basic taco seasoning in cream cheese and sour cream recipe, but they must add something to it because it's oh so good (and cheaper that the cream cheese alone I must add).German Potato Salad - my Grandmother used to spend half a day making hers from scratch, and I've used her recipe many times. But as shortcuts go, this is the best way to get most of her flavors without the extensive time investment.Krab Salad - yes krab with a K. Turn down your nose and admit that you aren't always willing to spring for the real thing, especially when it's slathered in mayo and usually sitting on the buffet on a hot summer day. Because this is an outlet for their factory over runs the selection can change from day to day. But there is absolutely something that will please everyone at your next picnic, party or bbq so make a point to check it out!

One of my favorite places to go when im in a rush and just need something quick and delicious to eat. Have all types of food, even the pickiest of people will find something to eat here!
