Country Lanes

We came in on a Friday night with 3 kids wanting to bowl. The person helping us, Jim, was attentive and friendly, helping us with shoes, drinks and more. We arrived around 9:30 and the kitchen was unfortunately closed so maybe next time we will get to try the pizza, as Jim told us how good it is. This is a family establishment that is clearly working hard to renovate the place as they've updated all the lanes, computer systems, down to the bowling shoes. We loved it, had a great time and will be back!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I played in a league here and had a decent time. Spent alot of $$ here between food and drinks everytime I bowled. The last day they "gifted" the bowlers with pizza but said NO CHILDREN COULD EAT ANY!! Who does that? I will never spend a dime at this cheap inhumane inconsiderate place ever again.

The fried fish, fried shrimp and baked fish were good. The potato pancakes and coleslaw needed seasoning to make them better, pretty lackluster. I got there about 5:15 and it wasn't crowded - 7 at the bar and one couple at a table. I didn't get my order until 6:00 and the waitress almost sent me home without the fried shrimp-luckily the cook caught the mistake before I walked out the door.

Not For Kids!I visited Country Lanes recently with a scout group. I am no bowling expert, but all of the bowling alleys I have been to in the past many years have had the automatic bumpers that go up or down depending on the bowler. Country Lanes doesn't have these types of lanes. That is okay...I understand an upgrade is probably very expensive. The bumpers that they do have are the black drain tiles that you connect to the end of your gutters. No problems...they seemed to work just fine. My complaint is that they only have two sets of these "bumpers". If you have more than 10 or so kids in your group, some of them will be stuck bowling on lanes without bumpers. Bowling when you get a gutter ball every time isn't much fun for a kid.

Country Lanes has undergone a transformation in the last couple years with new ownership! It is the perfect place for league bowling and family fun. Sundays are cheap family fun for hours at 2 bucks a game! Lots of updated looks and well maintained lanes. Small business owner feel and love with high end bourbons and other liquors. Lots of different beers and seltzers to choose from, great in house mixed old fashions and the best apple pie shots in town! They have a hall for rent downstairs I used to surprise my parents with a 50th anniversary party. The pizzas are made to order with the best ingredients. Can't say enough about country lanes and it's getting better every time I go in! Check it out!

Would not recommend for many reasons. Try any other restaurant or eat out before you go bowling there which I would just say go somewhere else.

Bowling alley seems to be a hidden gem of you are into that sort of thing. They have 12 lanes and the place is pretty clean. Prior to coming here you may want to ensure you bring your own ball. They have a pretty nice collection of customer bowling balls, but they might not fit your fingers. This is typically a place for bowlers of all sorts that play in leagues. Haven't tried the food yet. They seem to have a pretty packed house each time we've been in to bowl.

Place was clean, staff was nice. But man, these balls were terrible. I have never played with worse balls in my life.

If you're looking to bowl for maybe an hour, get ready to spend $20. This place likes to charge per game and they do not make that clear. Shady business practice to make a quick buck. Never spending money here again.

This is not your average bowling alley. A lot has been done inside and outside to make it a place to gather. Great food, friendly staff and the owners are very visible and friendly.The Fish Fry and the Pizza are some of the best around.There have been many improvements to the inside of the lanes. The bumpers have been upgraded, the lanes have been opened up for easier access.Haven't been here in a while? Come check it out!
