Corned Beef Factory

The hubby stopped after a quick visit to the DMV and brought a couple sammies home for us to try. He said the restaurant was clean and the service was great. He grabbed a pastrami and a corned beef. I LOVE corned beef and judge most restaurants by their Reuben (if they have one on the menu). Both sandwiches were delicious! The chips, unfortunately, didn't travel well but I tossed them in the air fryer and they were just fine. We will definitely return to try more sandwiches!

The bagged potato chips are now extra, not included. This time we visited, the ice machine was down, so we had to drink warm soda. Gag

I was passing through and saw the billboard for this place. Kind of tucked in a strip mall. I'm glad I stopped in here. The place is very clean and the service was fantastic. I ordered the Ruben and which was made to order. It was probably the best Ruben I've ever had. Also comes with house chips which were also very good. Be hungry because it's a big sandwich!!!

Nice seeing a new sandwich shop in town. They have a very limited menu, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Ruebens, Italian Beef, Turkey and Pastrami sandwiches. I've eaten here twice, First time was the first week they opened in July and my second time was just this week, both times I ordered the Reuben Sandwich. There was a bit of inconsistency between the two visits, my first visit the sandwich was better. It did appear they were traingn a new employee on my most recent visit so that may expain the slight inconsistency The sandwich on my second visit had a bit to much thousand island dressing and the bread was over grilled/toasted but still pretty tasty.

The Italian beef sandwich was huge but way too salty. My friend had a Reuben. He said it was fine. This is a restaurant at the end of the strip mall where the DMV is, with a room for slot machines. If gambling is your thing, you can get a sandwich before you start. There is nothing remotely inviting about the decor. The staff is friendly, though.

Will be back! Great corn beef on rye and hot pastrami sandwiches; could only eat half and enjoyed the homemade chips and pickle spear too.

It's a simple restaurant, with a simple menu off the beaten path. We tried it because I had a coupon, and I will definitely be back! I cannot believe how much meat I had on my sandwich! The corn beef was outstanding, as well as the pastrami, and I loved the rye bread! i'm sure you could ask for extra dressing and sauerkraut, but the sandwiches were perfect.

I grew up in the northwest side of Chicago in the '50s & '60s. Corned beef sandwiches were as common as hotdogs. Today I tried The Corned Beef Factory in Woodstock Illinois passing up Tommy's Hotdogs. It's next to the DVM so there's plenty of parking on a Saturday. Let me tell you about the food! As I said I grew up where corned beef was a staple so I was prepared for something not quite as good. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by how great my sandwich was! Piled high on rye with mustard (you can choose spicy or regular) Swiss cheese and a dill pickle on the side. It also came with delicious chips. Soft fountain drinks are available as well as beer. I had to take half of my sandwich to go because I was so full after one half!The space itself is huge with several tables and one outside. There's also a gaming room for fun. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for something besides a hotdog or burger!

Food was cold and low quality. 2.25 is to much for one drink. Save your money and go to tommysThis place is basically subway

Sooooo disappointing! Got a corned beef sandwich. It wasn't even real corned beef! Very dry with no flavor. The rye bread it was on was ok. Thank god for the spicy mustard! That actually had flavor. Very expensive for something that doesn't taste good. Will not be going back.
