Consumer Beverage

I recently stopped in to pick up some beverages for our Thanksgiving Day party. For the size of this place, I'm really surprised at the fantastic selection they have in stock.I did want a bottle of Asbach Uralt which is an imported brandy from Germany and makes the best Wisconsin style old fashion I've ever tasted. I couldn't find it in the brandy aisle, so I asked, and they said no problem, we keep that in the back. While my father-in-law was still alive, I always kept my Kegerator stocked with 1/4 or 1/2 barrels I bought from Consumer. They have the best in stock selection I could find and if I wanted something special I'd ask, and they'd find it for me. Just a side note, I used to stop here with my buddies on our way to The 24 Outdoor, on Janesville Road in Muskego fifty years ago. Truly, it was the same then as it is now. Friendly and accommodating.

Consumer has been a constant for my whole life. My grandma lived around the corner and it was always the go-to for prepping for family holidays. It's still got that same small-business vibe and the best selection in the area. I'm especially fond of their European beer varieties. Highly recommend!

Excellent selection. Employees are knowledgeable and nice. Good prices overall, but could use done some organization in wine. Like is it by type or price or random.

I love Consumer Beverage! CB has an amazing selection of beer, wine, and spirits. It's almost guaranteed that whatever amazing gem you find will cost less than any other store around.CB is great for every day purchases, and also for hard to find items. I have purchased beer for friends in other states that my friends have otherwise been able to find. Whenever my family visits from the West Coast, they ask to stop and shop at Consumer Beverage. Bonus: The owner has done business in the community for several decades. Service is always friendly.

This is a fantastic family owned business. Everyone is always super friendly and helpful and their prices are decent.

Holy Moses. The store is disorganized. It is hard to find things... But, guess what? It is worth looking in every nook and cranny. Consumer Beverage has some beyond amazing prices! I picked up an Ardbeg An Oa and Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban way below retail. Frankly, a lot of stuff I saw was priced so attractively I could seriously damage my bank account there.I didn't see store picks/private barrel offerings but that's perfectly fine. I found the staff very friendly. My eye caught something behind the counter and I was invited to get a closer look. How many stores let you do that? Answer: Not many.I don't get to Milwaukee all that often but Consumer Beverage makes it absolutely worth the drive. Cheers!

My husband stopped in a week or so ago looking for a certain kind of beer (because the out-of-state brewer's website stated it was sold there). He didn't find it and asked the check-out clerk about it. She looked with him, didn't find it, and then took the time to call their distributors to see if they carry that brand of beer. She found out that they haven't for a while, but the fact that she took the extra time to track down the information was AWESOME! We've always had good customer service there, but this went WAY above and beyond and was very much appreciated! YOU ROCK!!

Brewski'sHad a great fish fry. Lightly breaded. My husband and I had the fish fry. My sister and brother-in-law had Poor Man's Lobster and perch. Those were great as well.Very nice wait staff.We will certainly be back and we're bringing more customers.

Excellent selection of Wine, beer, and my fav Whiskeys. They always have specials on medium priced items I enjoy.

The Staff were welcoming, helpful And Professional. This was our first time visiting. When we entered the store, we were greeted by smiles and ask if I need any help let them know. I knew exactly what I wanted, and went to a vast assortment of Bourbons. After searching and not finding what I wanted, a staff member gladly came over to to help me find just what I was looking for and also, a special bottle and he happen to have! Outstanding service with wines and spirits selections!
