Cone Zone

We had to stop by the Cone Zone while in town! I am a sucker for local ice cream shops!We snagged a Dr. Pepper float, cookie dough confection, and a baby twist cone!Their cookie dough is home made and they sell the edible cookie dough separately, in case you need to take some home for your at home sundaes!The baby cone was the size of a normal small cone! I was expecting much smaller, but that just shows you the value of their items and prices.We spent $7.50 on all of those items, which would've been $15+ at some franchise locations.

Found this cute ice cream shop just off I 90. It was delicious and what a value at 5.40 for 2 large cones a dreamsicle and chocolate.

Went here to cool down on a Sunday and they were packed! Cars waiting in line out to the road, but it was definitely worth the wait and they moved people through pretty quick. What intrigued us most were the flavors of the day, which were black cherry and peach. Little did we know until we got there that they could be swirled together. Great combo and highly recommend. Also, the prices are so reasonable! A medium waffle cone for $2.35, can't beat that! The baby cone is just 90 cents. This is definitely going to be a stop many times this summer!

Yes, always busy during the summer. Ice cream is delicious so many varieties and flavors. The staff is very friendly excellent location in the city of Milton.

Lots of options! The kids ordered whatever their hearts desires and the staff happily whipped it up. You can't beat the prices!! I personally had the dual pineapple whipped and would highly recommend it. Bring your cash this place doesn't accept cards but trust me it's worth it.

This sweet little place offers more than just a tasty dairy treat. This place offers a way to make fun and fabulous memories with family and friends. My grandma always treats me to an ice cream when I'm up visiting, and it's become a tradition. The employees are always so patient with me when it takes like 5 minutes to decide what I want and the item is always ready in 30 seconds or so. Great service! And the prices! Super reasonable!

Dearest Cone Zone, please move and be closer to me. Happy that my boyfriend's parents live nearby so I can work this into a semi-regular rotation during their open season. We opted for their drive-thru and ordered a small strawberry-vanilla twist in a dish and a small blue moon (their featured flavor) in a cone. The girl working the window was polite and repeated our order back to make sure we got the correct items in our preferred containers. While we waited I marveled at how low the prices are - it was somewhere around $3 for our entire order. Even if you're like me and don't typically carry cash, you've probably got enough in your wallet or car console to cover your order. I tasted a bit of my boyfriend's blue moon and was surprised to enjoy it - I've never been a fan of that flavor but theirs is more sweet cream and less Froot Loops. My strawberry-vanilla twist was perfection. Snow white vanilla and baby pink strawberry puled high in a dish. I would have guessed I was served a medium or large; the small is very generous and I have no complaints about that. Soft serve is one of my favorite foods and it's lacking in Madison. The strawberry half of my twist tasted natural, which was a nice surprise. I'm glad I moved out of my chocolate comfort zone to try it and maybe someday they'll offer a chocolate-strawberry twist. I could also probably just request half and half. If you find yourself near Milton and want a cheap sweet treat, the Cone Zone is a worthy stop.

I gave Cone Zone another try this past week. The last time I tried it was right when they opened about 5 years ago, and my biggest complaint then was that I couldn't get home (less than a mile from the store) without the ice cream being completely melted.It was definitely a welcome surprise. No longer does their ice cream melt, and they have a huge selection. Their rotating flavors are some of the best. The one that they had the last week of July (Black Raspberry) was phenomenal.A definite must stop on a warm summer day!

I was visiting my son, DIL, and granddaughter in Janesville and after supper we decided to go have ice cream! It is summer after all!Their favorite place in the area is the Cone Zone in nearby Milton. It is a little drive in that has counter service and outdoor seating only. They serve a delicious soft serve ice cream in a variety of ways that includes sundaes, multiple ingredient shakes (concrete mixers), cones and the like. I had a brownie turtle sundae that was just delicious with several chunks of brownie and lots of caramel tucked in at the bottom. Almost all their concoctions have the option of whipped and a cherry on top. It was very brightly lit, plenty of counter staff and the tables appeared pretty clean. It is a little out of the way but definitely worth the drive. I'd totally recommend it if you are in the Janesville/Milton area. Great soft serve!!

BEST ice cream. They're good and cheap! My kids especially love the dole whip, cheesecake creations, pineapple shakes. I love blue moon and dirt cups
