Concourse Restaurant & Lounge

The appetizers at Concourse might be my favorite thing that I ate! I like to enjoy little tastes of a lot of food, and that's what I was able to do with some of the appetizers here. I tried the firecracker shrimp (amazing breading), the Italian meatballs (swimming in wonderfully tomatoey sauce), and another appetizer that I didn't catch the name of but I devoured anyway. Everything I ate was excellent. The appetizers were all nicely presented, too, so everything looked as delicious as it tasted.Dinner was lobster bisque with a puffed pastry on top (deliciously briny and comforting), a Caesar salad and Alaskan halibut. The fish was flaky and perfectly cooked -- it literally felt like it melted in my mouth. It was served in a tomato relish.The service here is top-notch! Water was refilled promptly, and the servers were very friendly. The dining room lighting is soft and mellow. My dinner experience was great, and I'd definitely visit Concourse again when I'm in the Elkhart Lake area.

The food was wonderful and the service was on point. Great outdoor seating with view of lake and people watching.

We had a large table reserved here for a Friday night to celebrate my birthday as we stayed at this hotel over the weekend. The food was terrible - the cheese curds were beyond oily and soggy and the salmon was over cooked. The wedge salad was ok.

The food was good, but the portion was ridiculously small. The chicken was cooked very well. But again, 26$ for a mini chicken....

Nice bar. Scotty served good brandy old fashions and made an excellent brandy Alexander for dessert. The bar deserves 5 stars. We were seated outside per our request. Nice outdoor seating. We ordered the French onion soup which was superb. My husband and I both ordered the grilled dry aged Kansas City strip, rare. They were served with garlic mashed potatoes and a mix of sautéed zucchini and summer squash. All of the food was cold. The steaks weren't even warm enough to melt the herb butter on top of them and were done medium rare to medium. The potatoes and veggies weren't even lukewarm -- the potatoes wouldn't melt the butter pats from atop the steak. The steak was overdone and "funky" tasting like it was aged too long and not properly trimmed. I do not recommend this restaurant. Service was slow and the restaurant was not busy. Very disappointed.

It was our 35th wedding anniversary, no mention even after I told them,Also we were the only people there besides 4 at the bar.

If zero was an option I would give it. Horrible hostess staff today, 2/15/25. Here for Valentine's Day dinner, party of 4 with a reservation and a hotel guest. We were sat a small high top table with no linens in the corner. Regular tables were available. Everyone else was seated at nice linen covered tables and we were here prior to the others. DO NOT take reservations if you don't have tables available!! Completely ruined my Valentine's Day dinner. WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS RESTAURANT OR THE Osthoff. They had to clear our bread and other items in order to fit our food at the table.

Do not waste your money on this restaurant, The Concourse. Food is expensive and tasteless with everything a la carte. 1 chewy pork chop, 1soggy Caesar salad, 1bowl tasteless Alfredo with part of an overcooked chicken breast on top , no drinks just water. $80.00 with tip $100.00. The servers were good. The price would have been OK if food was wonderful actually if it was even just good but the food was neither.

It was just ok, 3 stars is kinda generous. the alfredo my daughter got was bland cream soup with noodles it was so runny. My chicken sandwich was a regular sandwich, pretty solid overall. the waitress Abby was very good, so that was a plus! The ambience was wanna be upscale but with old carpet and smoggy windows.

If you're looking for fine dining, this isn't it. There's other options in Elkhart Lake As others mentioned, the staff was working hard. It was a Saturday night and it was busy, but not full. Service was slow, but not because anyone was slow. They are just understaffed and there wasn't a seasoned person around The food was Ok at best and is smaller portions. Given the pricing I don't think there's value. Given it is Osthoffs premiere restaurant, I certainly expected more. Unfortunately, not a lot ofambiance either. My wife and I went for dinner, we were staying for a weekend getaway.
