We like to stop here whenever passing though town. Very clean friendly place. Other than the hand sanitizer at the entrance not a lot of COVID-19 restriction were in place. Customers seated themselves and tables were not 6 feet apart. Staff did not wear face masks or gloves.Monday lunchtime moderately busy. Only one server/bartender on duty from what we could see. She was friendly and efficient. She brought us chips and salsa before our drinks came. We ordered a half order of jalapeño bottle caps and a chicken quesadilla to share. The bottle caps were excellent served with ranch dressing. Awesome. The chicken quesadilla was a disappointment. Very large but just not good. We left most of it untouched. We've been here several times before and the food has always been above average. I'm putting this episode down to an anomaly. We'll give it another try next time we're in town.

I recently attempted the Gyro challenge at the Coliseum. The service here was fantastic. The restaurant was clean. The gyro itself had great flavor. However, the meat was way over cooked & the pita bread was chewy. Some of the gyro meat was event burned. I've devoured plenty of gyros in my lifetime, & this by far was the toughest one to eat. After eat bite, I immediately had to take a drink of my beverage to help wash it down.

We ended up here unexpectedly when we were in town. Service was quick and the environment was laid back and relatively kid-friendly. Portions were large and food was good BUT we have a dairy intolerance in our family and our server really had no idea what menu items had dairy. First request of "is there dairy in this?" Resulted in talking to the kitchen and coming back with "probably not". That wasn't going to cut it for us so we ordered tacos for our little guy only to discover there was milk in the chipotle sauce!!! The server was great to bring us another taco without sauce, but it's frustrating to feel like you have to ask about every single item on the menu. We asked about the broccoli and were told it was cooked in oil, not butter, so we fed it to our kid only to have the server come back from the kitchen telling us it wasn't oil, but a butter substitute (many of which actually have milk products in them). So, in summary, food and environment was great, but don't expect much help if you have food allergies!

We just tried a bunch of appetizers. They were ok but they all tasted like pre-frozen food from a good distributer. It wasn't the restaurant quality I expected. Staff was pleasant.

We ordered through eat street for our food. I ordered a chicken bacon ranch wrap with crispy chicken. the crispy chicken was only on the end of the wrap where it was cut in half. No chicken in the rest of the wrap. Very disappointing

I want to love Coliseum but I can't. Every time I try the service is more and more rude also I have noticed often one particular server not take my money for my drink immediately and go do other things for a while come back and that money goes to her tips. One bartender is sweet but honestly get some friendly accommodating bartenders and you could have a whole different experience. Some drink specials during the week would draw in a crowd. Offer open mic live music to up and comings a comedian on occasion just something! I know dinner hours are pretty good here but you could be doing so much better in the night scene. It's such a perfect space that's so massive it feels lonely when you go in evenings. Food is good so many more people would go and stay all night instead of just when they can't get food anywhere else. Please do some changes.

The food is great!! I have had the 1/2 naked curds, fried pickle chips, southwest rolls (YUM), taco salad, taco wrap, BBQ Mac & cheese and the bacon and ranch chicken wrap. The food is the reason I come back. Hence, the 5 stars.My experience with the service is not so great. I have ordered pick-up 10+ times now since November 2023, when I moved in right across the street from them. When I pick up my orders, I go to the bar, and the bartender/bartenders assist me. Service is terrible outside of them taking my payment and giving me my food. No greetings, no smiles, and very small talk if they can help it. So usually, this doesn't bother me enough to write a review until this last visit.*I have had maybe 2 positive interactions out of all the times I have ordered*8/11/24 after 9 pm Sunday. I call in my order of 1/2 naked curds, fried pickle chips and southwest rolls.* I got this virtual gift card that I can only use on Google Pay, so I ask if I can pay over the phone. The lady says no because of policy... I ordered the night before, and whoever took the order did that.* No big deal. It is fine because I can pay in person, so I go to pick up my food and go up to the counter and let them know I was there to pick up my order. It is not busy at all, I need to mention.Lady with brown curly hair, I did not get a name, took my payment, and gave me my food, and that was it! And what I mean by that was it, no hello, no have a good night, no smile, no interactions what so ever which was odd because I was actually trying to talk to her. I had tried to tell her, and I quote, " The reason I asked over the phone if I could pay over the phone was because I ordered last night, and they took my payment that way." Google pay.. virtual gift cards....COMPLETELY ignored me. She made eye contact.So she gave me my reciept, and as she walked away, i was trying to tell her that i wanted to leave a tip, but because the transaction went through, i was not able to. COMPLETELY ignored again. I didn't know why I was unable to leave a tip, I was kinda asking her. I even said hey I'm asking a question to her and another lady with dark, longer hair, and glasses who, at this point, were more or less in front of me." COMPLETELY ignored me. They did make eye contact. Again, I did not get names. I got a picture of the second lady but won't post here. I was absolutely shocked. The lady with the brown curly hair handed me my order, and I did not say thank you this time as I would normally have.I am used to being treated not so customer friendly from here, which I should not feel to begin with, but on 8/11/23, it was that bad. I wrote on my receipt that was left on the bar bad service, and they never smile. I'm sure IF they even noticed they had a laugh, but honestly, I wanted to say a lot more. I don't expect a lot for customer service, I'm not one of those. A smile goes a long way, a hi, at the least. But you completely ignored me.I do want to say thank you to the cooks ( THE FOOD IS GREAT) and the other servers and staff who do not represent the colosseum in the way that I experienced on this particular day.Unfortunately, I myself will not call in for pick-ups or pick up my orders anymore. I will have my daughter instead, but I can assure you that she won't be as tolerant and patient as myself if she has the same experiences. I hope that this reaches someone who might take action to at least speak about how customer service should be to the employees that may not have the best skills that they so much need in this sort of job!I tried to be as detailed about my experiences because I do take leaving this review very seriously.

I grabbed food at 1:30am late at night, brought my food home after I didn't eat much In the restaurant. Around 3 am I started eating and i found a hair in my food. I thought I'll be respectful to those bartenders "they want to go home, I'll call tomorrow". I called the next day and got told I was lying about coming in, and that I lied about my story. I tried to speak to a manager bartender Jason or Jacob would not give me a manager. I later called back and was able to speak to a manager she also told me my story was false and it would be "bending the rules" to get me food that I can actually eat. Horrid customer service from management down to the bartends.

When you cheat people at a food challenge you advertise and represent, and I've seen the evidence myself, then what else are you cheating people over. Not good business practice at all and pretty shady at best.
