I have driven past this cool sign hanging off the building for years wondering what it looked like in the inside so I stopped and it is what I imagined. It looks like something from like south Milwaukee on the inside with out the exterior character. It looks like a nice old Woden bar on the inside and not like the west allis dive bar style but not tosa modern/fancy. They have plenty of taps on hand and the woman bartender said coconut porter something so I said yes please, I don't think that I have ever heard porter beer and coconut in the same sentence so I'm trying it. Oddly I actually liked it because it did have a sweet coconut finish. It's definitely a regulars bar because I got the eye and only the bartender talked to me which is ok because I was just checking the place out before more shopping.

Hey if you don't want that sign. Let me buy it! Please.??Cozy dive style. Bar very casual. Good selection of crafts and drafts. I like this place but sadly they plan to close soon and reopen with new owners. I suppose they don't intend to change the name as the sign has lots of history. The customers are creatures of habit they'll be here. I don't expect much change. But YMMV - your mileage may vary. Try them out. If they don't meet your expectations. Let them know or lower your standards. :)Food n/a food from Lalli's pizza to the East will easily fix your pizza craves. Amb 4Service 5Location 3Value 462/2014

A nice local tavern. Fair enough prices on cocktails plus the usual beer selections .it gets busy on the weekends and parking is either in the lot in the back of the building for 3 lucky customers or else Street parking You can order food from lallies pizza and it will be delivering right to you in the bar.

This dive may be good for beers, but definitely not for alcohol. The only thing I enjoyed about this place was the patio seating area. It's normally easy to find good Old Fashions in Wisconsin, but they did not have it here...because they didn't have bitters. So I ordered a moscow mule, but they don't do moscow mules or whiskey mules. Finally, ordered just a regular Jameson and Gingerale, but it just tasted like plain club soda. It was served in a 16 ounce glass, barely any alcohol, and lots of soda. I'm not even sure if gingerale was the soda they put in because it tasted off. With my disappointment of Jameson and Gingerale, I decided to order my last resort drink: cranberry and vodka with a splash of orange juice. It was also served in a tall 16 oz beer glass. It would've been okay if they loaded it up with alcohol, but it didn't taste like the cranberry and vodka I'm used to. If you're a beer drinker, this place is not so bad. If you like liquor in lieu of beer, stay in the clear from this place....unless you like it on the rocks.

Sometimes you wanna go where everyone forgets your name. (Cheers theme song like)Club Tap is a comfortable Tosa home bar. They've always got a nice selection of beers on tap, it's often a little too loud, the bartenders are attentive if not downright friendly, and -- bonus alert -- you can order a pizza at the back door from Lalli's. They'll even deliver right to your bar stool. For whatever reason, Club Tap Cocktail Lounge is often the last stop of the night for us. That means chemically altered neurotransmitters prevent the possibility of ever remembering anyone's name. It seems that every visit to Club Tap starts the same way: you recognize a face and say, "Hi. How you doin'? Sorry, what's your name again?" And they reply, "I'm fine and I'm *inserts name here*. What's your name? I forgot yours too." Then you chat over a drink and comment about whatever game is on the TV.Club Tap is like a comfortable old sweatshirt. it's ragged at the edges and not the prettiest thing in the closet, but wrap yourself up in it on a cold Winter's night and it becomes a most cherished possession. Now, what's your name again? Sorry. I totally forgot it.

It's a local small dive with a couple tables, attentive bartender, and fun people. This place is great for a casual drink(s), face it, it's Wisconsin. Also great to catch a game at. Local gem with reasonable prices.

Club Tap is the quintessential neighborhood bar. It's a small, one-room space that is more long and narrow than it is short and wide. It's not a hip, popular place to visit and they don't serve food. But it is a bar within walking distance of many in the Pasadena and Swan Neighborhoods and you can count on them to be open pretty much anytime; they boast that they are open 365 days of the year. They even open by 9am on the Fourth of July to serve those coming out to watch the Independence Day Parade.Recently the bar was taken under ownership by those who own Lalli's Pizza, a carryout and delivery establishment next door to the Tap. The bar closed for about a week this summer and the locals eagerly anticipated the much-needed renovations were were sure they would be making. No dice. When we came back, the place was the same old tap with just a few new faces behind the bar. The Tap has always been pretty much your beer and on-the-rocks type of bar. You won't find any frozen drinks and since you're more likely to end your night there then head there to watch a college football game on a Saturday, it's a not place you'd seek out for a good Bloody Mary. The Tap is a tell-it-like-it-is, we-don't-care-what-anyone-else-thinks, take-it-or-leave-it type of place. They have never been and never will be a place that tries to impress. At least they're not trying to be something they aren't?I say all of this lovingly, mind you. I have a love-hate relationship with this bar.

It's definitely hit or miss. In the daytime there is a bartender who is chill and amicable. At nighttime there's a horrible woman (I believe her name is phoebe) behind the bar. I came in on my birthday (after dinner and a few drinks-- not drunk though) and she made me feel beyond unwelcome. She told me I had to buy a drink or I couldn't pay to play darts. She didn't even give me a chance to order a drink before being rude. It's the second time I've come in and she's been here, and both times rude as ever. She's always surly and cold no matter how few people are inside (there were 4 people at the bar). There was a guy who also works nights-- he's one of the reasons I keep coming back because he's welcoming: The woman working daytime is great too. There are also regulars who make the atmosphere like a "cheers" bar. The pizza is great, 2 of 3 bartenders are okay, but phoebe just sucks the life out of the place. -0 stars for phoebe (night bartender)-4 starts (male evening bartender)-3.5 starts (for daytime female bartender)-4 starts Lallis pizza

Came in from out of town, and we chose this place because it was right by our hotel. We made the right choice. Bartender was friendly and so were the customers! We will most def be back !

I have been there before, it's always been a good place. Stopped here tonight and valentines night to have a drink with my girl. The bartender was the worst bartender I've ever seen in my life. I may never go to club tap again and I live less than a half mile away. The owner should be ashamed of this employee. I have three kids and we suspend a considerable amount of money in taverns, but it won't be a club tap.
