Cliff's willy Street Eats

This place is far from me but well worth the hype! Quote from a friend: "this is the best chicken I've ever had, and I lived in Atlanta for 4 years." Truly top tier freshness and crispiness. Fries also 10/10. Fun atmosphere as well with the uncs watching college football on the TV. The Philly cheesesteak was decent but a little salty for my taste. Might go for something more southern next time.

A few weeks back during Black Restaurant Week, I checked out Willy Street Eats. I opted for their cheese steak and fries. The food was prepared fresh to order, and it's rare to find a standout cheese steak in Madison, but this one was not just good--it was fantastic! The owner's hospitality added to the experience, ensuring I'll return for more.Quick note: My friend went for the oxtail and raved about how tender it was--literally falling off the bone! I've made a mental note to try that next time; it sounds like a must-try dish.

I was in the area and decided to drop in before meeting some friends at 5. Cliff's is small, and has a vibe unlike that I've seen in Madison before. The staff inside were welcoming and super friendly. They recommended the fish, so I ordered the catfish, and WOW. Better than any fish fry I've had in Madison, hands down. The fish was crisp, juicy, and well seasoned. The fries were very satisfying, and both had quantity to spare. If you walk past Cliffs and are intimidated by the small size, don't let that stop you from enjoying some no-frills good-eats. This is a type of food Madison is better off for having.

Stopped for a late lunch yesterday at Cliff's Willy St Eats - we had the jerk chicken with greens and black eyed peas and the perch with coleslaw and subbed sweet potatoes for fries Everything was well prepared and delicious!

A neighborhood stop -- super casual -- not for you if you want high-falootin' white glove service but definitely for you if you want great food at a fair price. We recommend the rib dinner or the fried chicken dinner -- served with Mac and cheese and cornbread. Ribs were meaty, fried chicken served hot and tasty. Diners on the way out also raved about the rib tips. Lots of cooking skills going on back in the kitchen. Friendly service. We'll be back

I finally had the chance to try Willy Street Eats yesterday, and I was not disappointed! I ordered the Jerk Chicken, and it was delicious. I'm looking forward to returning to try other dishes, especially the Rib Tips. I'm also excited to find out they are now on Uber Eats since I don't live nearby.

Amazing food and very friendly service. One of the best gyros I've ever had. Staff is super kind and make you feel at home. High recommend.

Went for lunch today and had the wings. Superb! Had a great conversation with Cliff and Antoine. Will definitely be back.
