Claw's Hot Dogs & Beef

Haven't been here for about five years. I was in the area, and wanted to see if it's still awesome. The menu is extensive and everything looks wonderful. The Monday/Wednesday special looked good. 2 Chicago dogs, small fry, and a small Coke for $10.50. Can't beat that price. Everything is hot and fresh, and it was prepared in a matter of minutes. Staff is polite and professional. Plenty of lot parking. If you're in the late Geneva area I highly recommend this establishment.

Gosh, we think this is just a fabulous hidden gem. You would never think by looking at it that it's going to be as good as it is. I've never had anything bad here, but as far as amazing- yes the Chicago dogs all the way. So so good, every time I need them. They have a two Chicago dogs, fries, and a drink for $12.95, and tons of other meal deals. Tons of options so everyone will be able to find something they like. The bosco sticks are delicious and a go to as well. And the chicken Parmesan sandwich is always my husband's favorite. We tried the chili cheese fries this last time, and great chili. It has that fun old school feel inside as well, with the old booths to eat in. Clean on the inside and quick service for food coming out. You just order right at the counter, so no wait staff. Tons of parking too, which isn't always the case in Lake Geneva!

Best gyros in the area! They have a lot of other items on their menu, more so than most hot dog joints. The inside is always clean. The employees are always friendly. They do have a drive-thru. If you use the drive-thru, expect a bit of a wait.

We've been going to Claw's for years and like their sandwiches. They have a good variety, offering everything from gyros (our favorite!) to paninis to chicken salad sandwiches to burgers. They also serve breakfast, as well as milkshakes and ice cream cones. The atmosphere is kinda like an indoor hot dog stand, with bright yellow and red colors mixed with wood accents. Their staff is mostly super friendly, one of the women behind the counter is a little abrasive.The only reason I give it one less star is I would love to see a few healthier options, like a chicken/avocado panini, or a Mediterranean sandwich with hummus, or something like that. But if you're not in the mood for anything super healthy (because there are at least moderately healthy options available), then my bet is that you will like it here!

I called at noon, asked to hold, 8 minutes later still nobody came back to the call. I finally got a hold of someone, said that I was just on hold for 8 minutes and they said well it's busy here. I said do you have time for my order and she laughed and said yep. Put my order in. Went in to pay, 10 minutes after I put my order in, and the lady was so rude. The order you just literally called in.... Then announced back to the kitchen that "The phone callOrder was here already, I know she just called". Then a man said phone order, I've been calling for you with a rude look on his face and walked away. HORRIBLE customer service. I get that it's busy but there's no need to be rude to a paying customer. Absolutely ridiculous and I will not be back. Lake Geneva has a million other restaurants and don't treat their customers so rude. Unbelievable experience

We are good local customers but we're disappointed to see that all of the employees were not wearing masks yesterday when putting our order together, despite the fact that their is a pandemic, state law and they had to close recently due to employee testing positive. All the employees including the cook making our food had their masks below their chin! We won't be going back as if claws does not care enough to protect their customers than we will not support your business!

The beef sandwich was pretty good nice little gem i found in lake Geneva i will be back.

Corn beef sandwich with little meat. They should take it off the menu. I should have changed my order when she told me the no longer had onion rolls anymore. Then it was, they no longer had the corn beef made in house, just the meat for the Reuben sandwich. Ask to have with no sauerkraut with sauce on the side. This is what I got ‍

Almost 17 bucks for lunch. Philly steak sandwich has no meat.fries are small. I have to eat on the way home. Sandwich wasn't very good.

The food was bad last time I was there. Not sure who's running the place now, but I can not recommend.
