CJ's Bar & Grill

Great FISH FRY! I had the Blue Gill & French fries. Beer selection is good too. A little bit of everything. Lots of parking. Near the main road of Hwy 16, so good location. I've seen some other dishes there, so I'll be trying more cause they looked good. Been in there mid weekday and there was enough people there to make new friends.

The food was ok, they have Coke products on the gun. Standard bar atmosphere for a Wisconsin bar and grill. When we were there, the bar was toasty warm and comfortable.

I'm going to be biased if I write a review..... but I've heard some good things about this Joint...

Convenient location for me, will probably becoming my "home bar". Pricing is decent and the bartenders have been friendly the couple of times I've been there. I haven't tried their food yet so I can't review on that. Pretty low key compared to going to a bar in Sun Prairie, Portage or Madison but it's not completely dead like some of the other bars in the area seem to be when I've stopped in.

The patty melt is the best I've had. It's a great neighborhood bar with volleyball leagues several tvs to watch games on and a small diningroim if you don't like to eat at the bar.

Great surroundings! Great bar tenders! Good food and great outdoor place to eat and party!

I have eaten lunch and dinner at CJ's Bar and Grill several times over the last year and give two thumbs up to the service and food. Mostly I have had the Friday fish fry and stop in lunch time for a pretty tasty burger. The staff are very friendly and try hard to please.
