City Club

City Club has a vintage luncheonette look from outside, so we went in to see about having a beer. After we heard about their burgers, we decided to go ahead and eat a late lunch at the bar. There were also tall tables as well as dining room tables available.The cheeseburger, made from fresh local beef was wonderfully seasoned and was topped with creamy cheddar. The side of potato salad is their own homemade loaded baked potato salad and was richly sour creamy, black peppery and bacony. The cheeseburger set us back $5.25 and a side of potato salad, in a larger-than-most-places plastic tub was $2.50. The meal was very tasty and well worth the price. Service was good as well, and a lot of people seem to know what great food and deals were to be had there, as there was steady business the whole time we were in.

The bartenders Jada and Kheaira were so sweet. They always checked up on us. We got our drinks fast and they were so cute! Seriously, best bartenders i've had in a long time.

The food was amazing The service was terrible. The two young girls behind the bar ignored us while talking with each other. I watched the cook go and fill drinks for other customers... than go back and cook again. Your cook deserves a raise. The bartenders were unprofessional. I overheard the cook ask them to run food and when she walked away, the bartender made a comment that the cook was getting on her last nerve. After about 5 minutes the cook delivered the food herself. The experience was disappointing.

Stopped in for lunch with my wife. She had the steak sandwich. I had a double burger. Sides are not included so we got to share deep fried mushrooms. Sandwiches served on buns from City Bakery in Sheboygan. All was excellent and service was very good. Definitely will be back.

I love coming here. Everyone treats you like family. I always come in for 2 drinks tops but leave with more LOL

My colleague and I stop here once a month on a Sunday when we are in town on business. We love Val. She remembers things we have talked about and we enjoy her witty comments. We also love Joselyn. She is full of energy. The last two times we have been there Val was busy cooking. Jada was our bartender both times.She walks past us multiple times while our drink glasses are empty. Last night we stopped in. Jada and what looked like her twin were talking and laughing when we got there. We waited 15 minutes and were not acknowledged. Both girls were giggling together and appeared to be either drunk or high. Val was busy cooking so we were unable to get her attention. Several other patrons had empty glasses. Val delivered some food and said to Jada that some customers needed drinks. Jada made a nasty comment after she was out of hearing distance. We waited several more minutes because we were looking forward to steak sandwiches.We watched the two girls be completely unaware we were there. We left and ate at an establishment down the road.

Tonight I stopped in with our family for an early Father's Day Dinner. So disappointed we came into the restaurant and ordered right away after 2 1/2 hours we still. Did not get our food the owner seemed slightly empathetic but the waitress was beyond rude. I was really disappointed it's hard trying to give places the benefit of the fact when their staff cares so little about patrons I know they were busy but three tables that came after us got food first. It was bad my wife was hurt and so was I. It was worse that I was the only African American Patron. Also as we were leaving they were yelling good good let them leave. I understand they were busy but two tables ordering the same thing and a third with a more complicated order got food first. That I don't understand

Best food I've ever had. The steak sandwich made my lips quiver. The server was very nice and the slots were paying. 10 out of 10
