Had dinner here yesterday with my parents and sister. My dad is very picky about Mexican food, so when he suggested it, I was game.I noticed the Birria tacos dinner knew right away that was what I wanted. They make it with beef birria, which seems to be common, although goat birria is what I was hoping for. The meat was tender and flavorful. The shells were not as crispy as I hoped, but still very good. I also enjoyed the flavor of the rice and beans.My parents and sister ordered variations of the build-your-own combination dinners, which included empanadas and tamales as options, in addition to tacos, tostadas, enchiladas, and chimichangas, which are pretty standard.Everyone enjoyed their food, and our server was friendly and helpful. Although, he charged us twice for one of the dinners by mistake, which we didn't catch initially, so double check your bill before you leave. This will make our list of Mexican restaurants to return to.

Been looking for a new Mexican restaurant for a bit so thought I'd give this place a try. First impression is not great. Seating is beat up. The salt shaker on the table was caked with grossness. The salsa was not very tasty, bland at best. I had hard shell tacos and my wife a pick and choose combination. My tacos were just ok, nothing great about them. My wife's combination was similar. Fine but nothing to rave about. The food was warm but not hot. Now the saving grace of the place was the margaritas. They were not some sugary, syrupy mix. They were good. Service was good and for those 2 reasons they got more than 1 star. I don't recommend this place and I won't be going back unless I want to drink.

The main reason I like going here is for the margaritas. The mango blended margarita in particular. I believe they have perfected the margarita, I'd put em up there next to Botanas as far as (local) restaurant-made margaritas go. The tacos on taco Tuesday are cheap and delicious. Our waitress was on her 2nd day on the job so I can't really count it against her but I imagine because she was so new our service was lacking a bit. I didn't exactly get what I asked for but she did her best to make up for it and I was still satisfied in the end. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this place if you're looking for the best tacos and a great atmosphere, but Cinco de Mayo is the perfect small place to go when you and some friends are just sitting around and wanna get out of the house and go eat some tacos and hang out for a bit.

I bought a $50 gift card in 2021 and had documentation of it's value. Because they changed over their computer system and we couldn't prove if it was used, the owner would not honor the amount or even half! Not only would he not honor it, he was an amazing jerk and more worried about making money than having happy customers. As they say your money is your voice. I would encourage you not to support this business owner who doesn't want to do the right thing. Legally the gift card need to be valid for five years, but he doesn't care. Tammy U

This place is one of my FAVORITE places for Mexican food. All staff there is so nice and helpful, and whenever I go in, I'm seated right away and chips and salsa are served. The chips and salsa are the BEST part of the experience there. I really recommend this restaurant if you are trying to get away from the kiddos, want a date night, or in general want some real Mexican food.

The young lady who greeted us was very friendly. She was all over the place waiting on 7 tables. The menus we received had food stains, I should had known something then. While waiting on our food, we asked for more napkins, never received. My granddaugther had hair in her tacos, they were kind enough to make another batch, but no. Our appetites were totally gone when I removed the hair out of her tacos. The empanadas were very heavy breaded. Did not enjoy at all. The salsa for the chips had a tomato paste heaviness to it. No spice at all. This very place we have visited years ago way before the pandemic, it's changed quite a bit. We will not visit there anymore. I also left the young lady a tip. A tip to management: They need to clean there menus and when you advertise a certain activity on a given night have enough waitress/waiters on staff. Please wash your menus, those menus are passed hand to hand.
