This is not rye bread!
I tapped out, it's big.
Not bad for a huge skillet.
The Chubby's skillet is big.
The Chubby's skinny, nice melted cheese.
Table fixings.
The leftovers were a pound after I ate until I was full.

Food is served in extremely generous portions. Very laid back atmosphere with the most generous & amazing wait staff! Definitely my favorite place to get breakfast. Very very reasonable/affordable as well.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. From a customer and employee standpoint, this place isn't worth the few bucks you'll save. Cutting corners on food has caused customers to become ill and you'll likely need to head home after eating so you're close to the bathroom. Mold in multiple areas of the restaurant, and when it's raining, the water is pouring in from multiple spots onto tables, the front desk, and even patrons. Mold along the windows where it leaks can be seen and the woman's bathroom ceiling is water damaged with mold growth. There are critters in the ceiling as well, and I have heard multiple times a squirrel running across the old and deteriorating ceiling panels. This place needs a multitude of repairs and fixes that are continuously neglected. On top of the cosmetic and unsafe issues, poor management has plagued this place for the past few years. One under-qualified person after the next is left in charge after the previous person quit. 'Management ' if you can call it that, is generally passed to the next person who has been there the longest. The manager that was there when I applied was quitting because the other waitress was a 'b***h'. Her exact words. Turns out, she wasn't far off. She would yell at the kitchen and staff in front of customers, was rude to customers and staff and lacked the maturity of someone her age and in that position. She walked out and the next person there was given no management title but most of the duties. She lacks anything of substance in a professional setting and basic understanding of general concepts. She hired an employee and when this person wanted to work opening shifts that she thought only she could work, she sabatoged and got her fired and then used my name to taunt her and tell her that I would be happy to get my hours back. Then she never gave me said hours and I had to address it with the owner. She only gave me 3 days to work and said those were only days available while she was working 7 days a week and a double shift on Fridays. That only lasted a few weeks when another waitress applied and she hired her on the spot, while still telling me there were no extra hours available to me. That next week, I asked if anyone could cover my day shift so I could attend a field trip with my autistic son and said manager she would have new girl cover for me, I even have it in text, and then I would work the afternoon shift. She messaged me the night before and stated that she would work my afternoon shift, she took my shift without asking. I let it go and said that she couldn't take my shifts without asking and she didn't see it that way. The next day she called while on the field trip and I didn't answer so I stopped there after the field trip and people were surprised to see me. She told the owner I was a no call no show, and that is why she messaged me the night before saying my shift was covered. She could not fire me so she tried to sabotage me. She used this situation to give my hours to the new hire and she refused to talk to the owner with me. He said I could have my hours and she refused. I had to pay for daycare in advanced and she took my hours. When it came down to it, she gave me hours....but they were days I told her I was NOT available. If I didn't show up to those shifts I would have been fired so I chose to quit. She would have made it miserable for me to work and had proven that in the past few years I had worked with her. She had been harassing me for weeks through text about a variety of things . I kept calm and tried to explain things such as the fb page I ran, and she could not understand what I was telling her, so she called me 'difficult '. Anyone interested in applying should be aware of the management issues Chubbys has. The only thing I am sad about is losing my customers. I have spent the past few years building amazing relationships with customers and am heartbroken about losing them and hope they find me at my new job.

The 1 star is for our waitress Sophia! I would give her 5 stars ! However, it was a rainy morning and this place is disgusting!! The bathrooms were filthy!! As I get my meal it was the trio skillet, I start getting Poured on from the ceiling! I was like what the heck!!!!!! It starts going faster and faster, splashing all over me and in my breakfast skillet?? I put a water glass and a coffee cup and all the napkins and place mats That I could find around the pouring water! The waitress noticed what was going on and was as mortified as I was! And she was told by someone " This is normal"! NORMAL WTH?! This other woman that works there, starts laughing at me and said oh you're getting a free shower hahaha; NOT FUNNY TO ME!! My house or any other restaurant that I have been to, even in third world countries, I have never ever been soaked by a leaking roof and through the ceiling on to me and in my food! The water coming out was brown!!! SO GROSS!!! Then they had the nerve to charge me, when I pointed out all these complaints, they charged me full price after 4 bites! I had to tell them to put a " wet floor caution sign up! This place is always packed!! FIX YOUR CEILING AND ROOF!!! Caution to anyone that wants to eat here... stay away from Table 8 and the booth next to it! You should move the table and put buckets there! Seriously this is unacceptable!!!! I wish I would have had my phone!!

I stumbled on this place last week and thought how have I not been to this early morning breakfast place or seen it before so I stopped by. The place doesn't look like much from the outside and it's dive/dumpy on the inside. Service was great with plenty of coffee top offs while I was having my breakfast. The menu has all the breakfast regulars with a couple items not on most breakfast menus like the country Benny on an English muffin ??, if you have biscuits and gravy on the menu use a dam biscuit so it's all country. I like that they give you a carafe of ice water so you never have to wait for a refill and a real glass is used. The Chubby's skillet was the winner with ham, sausage, bacon, onion, green peppers, hash browns, tomatoes with cheddar cheese topped sausage gravy that comes with eggs and toast. To my surprise my skillet was topped with three eggs and huge, my left overs were just over a pound after I ate until I was full making a couple toast sandwich's and eating some of the skillet. My favorite sourdough toast was my choice and it's hit or miss with the quality and this was not the very best but it was really good with that perfect dense texture. My eggs were cooked perfect sunny side up. The skillet was really good and hot to my table with melty cheese. The hash browns had a golden crust with that soft/pillowy potatoes potatoes inside that I just liked and mix that with the meats, cheese and sausage gravy and you have one good skillet.I can't complain about anything and I had a great American breakfast from this place so I'm really glad that I stopped by. A good meat and potatoes breakfast is so comfort food in my opinion and why breakfast is my favorite meal so I would definitely come back for breakfast.

Never in a million years would I have stumbled on this place on my own. Met local fiends for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised! The portions are huge, staff is friendly and extensive menu. The only thing I was a little disappointed about was they used canned pie filling for the blueberry crepes. Expected fresh from a kind of rural place like this but oh well!

Ordered a patty melt, came burnt, not on rye bread either like menu says. Husband ordered a BLT club, no turkey on it and burnt toast hidden upside down. No offer to replace or not have to pay for a non-eatable food. Reading some other views on the site make me wonder if they were in the right restaurant or maybe written by a relative or the owner. We will never go back there again.
