Chiselled Grape Winery

We've now visited Chiselled Grape on two occasions. Charles has served us during each visit and the owner, Allen has been present mingling about. Charles has a fun personality and really adds to your experience. He's very knowledgeable and knows how to put a pitch out for a particular wine. Chiselled Grape has a fun vibe and Charles and Allen are definitely part of that. They are refreshingly genuine and forthcoming with their feelings and suggestions. Some might call that rough around the edges, others appreciate a person being who they are and not just trying to make a sale.My wife is more of the wine drinker but I'm down every now and again. Chiselled Grape has something for just about everyone. The added complimentary charcuterie was a nice touch to our December Friday night in Cedarburg.

Wow, excellent wines and the staff really know their stuff and were super fun and friendly. They selected wines based on our preferences and we were blown away w the wines. Highly recommend. Oh, and the pours are generous which is a bonus.

This was by far the best wine tasting I've ever been to. Not just because the wine was great, but the expert staff really made it a whole experience. Each wine tasting was customized to the person based on what we told the sommelier we liked and she would modify the next tasting based on our feedback. The owner was extremely friendly and down to earth me an my wife was so relax an at home here an we will be supporting sexy brand

What a fun place to enjoy a wine tasting! I was in Cedarburg for a girl's weekend and we planned to do a tasting at another winery, but it closed at 5pm on a Saturday... we went across the street to Chiselled Grape and had the best time!The owner is a huge personality and extremely knowledgeable about wines (he's a sommelier). He went out of his way to find the best wines for each of us which was really fun. You certainly do need to have a good sense of humor -- I love sickly sweet wines and he did tease me about that, but it was all in fun and each of the samples he gave me were to my taste!The setting was nice, music was fun and we just had an all around good time! I'm excited to go back in the future!

The owner, Allen is an ASSHOLE. He talked back to me when entering the bathrooms and tried to push me into the bathroom. SO RUDE!Since he wants to change how he responds to reviews here you go... Allen you did not once say "do not go to the bathroom together". I'm so sorry there's ONE bathroom in this establishment and decided to join my friend inside as we simply wanted to go as quick as possible. Allen, is the one that assumes we did it for other reasons. The bathroom was so clean and smelt great. Charles, our wine expert was absolutely incredible. I think if you asked Charles how we treated him he would not mention how the "younger generation has a sense of entitlement". The older generation (Allen) feels a sense of entitlement such as bossing and saying nasty comments to his staff. Yes, we heard you, Allen. We were having such an amazing experience until you were rude to use at the bathroom.

Charles was a fantastic server proving excellent wine, hospitality and company! Looking forward to my next visit here.

The owner of this business, Allen, Should know better than to keep his business open when he doesn't have the mental capacity to do so on a day of such a big festival. Upon entry, he was yelling at a staff to go clean up towels and annoyed at the fact that he had to move some tables around. He also doesn't want people to use his bathroom. I would definitely take your money elsewhere. There are MUCH better places to ENJOY wine. It won't be here. I will happily take my business elsewhere!I do wish I clicked on the one star review area of this business before we ruined what was a wonderful day today by going here. SO many reviews reference the owner and how he ruined their experience. I also notice his responses to these reviews. It looks like he copes with getting such a bad review by making mean comments to what once were paying customers. He needs to stop being an internet troll and take these as lessons as to how to create a better environment. Do what I wish I did, please take a look at the one star reviews before heading into this establishment. If you hate people who make you feel like an inconvenience. A business that doesn't welcome you AFTER purchasing their goods, please go elsewhere.

So glad we stopped in on Friday (& we came back again Saturday!) and met Allen. His knowledge of wines is amazing and he knew exactly what to suggest for our tasting. We enjoyed them all! Both the patio area and porch are comfortable and relaxing, and service was excellent. Definitely a must do in Cedarburg whether you're a novice or an experienced wine lover. We look forward to returning.
