Chinatown Kitchen

Love the food at Chinatown Kitchen! This is our go-to for Chinese food in Jackson. The food is always hot and fast. And the restaurant appears clean. The people at the counter are quick and efficient. My wife loves the General Tso's chicken and I enjoy the Four Seasons. And never leave without the Crab Rangoon!Would recommend this place if you're looking for Chinese in the area!

When I lived in Jackson from the late 2000s to the mid 2010s, Chinatown Kitchen was my go-to of the two Chinese restaurants that Jackson somehow manages to support business-wise. I never remember, though, if I like their egg rolls and that's what I primarily measure a Chinese restaurant by. While in town for a recent appointment I rectified that by ordering a pork egg roll and a shrimp egg roll for pickup.The pork egg roll has similar ingredients to a grocery store quality egg roll (pork, carrots, cabbage) thus the flavor isn't far off from one, but the pork is a much better quality than the mush in a store bought egg roll. Not my favorite pork egg roll ever, but certainly adequate.The shrimp egg roll is slightly thicker than the pork egg roll and seems to have the same base ingredients as the pork egg roll, but it doesn't have the hint of grocery store bought flavor that the pork egg roll has. For being thicker than the pork egg roll, I noticed considerably less pieces of shrimp than the pork egg roll had pork. Again, not the best shrimp egg roll I've had either, but probably my preference of the two egg rolls I ordered.

Most orders filled quickly. Food ok, but I prefer the buffet style food at the restraunt in West Bend.

The food is awesome although, I'm pretty boring and I get the same thing almost every time; Garlic Chickenbut I order it with alteration and they don't care . The service is always quick with zero errors made with the order. Not much ambiance but it's more of a Togo place so it's not important. Try it. You'll love it!

Two weeks ago we went to Hong Kong Express on Highway 60 on the west side of Jackson. Never realizing at that time that Chinatown Kitchen was on Highway 60 on the east side of Jackson. Who would have thought little Jackson would be home to two Chinese restaurants? As is typical for many neighborhood Chinese restaurants the place primarily caters to the carryout order. There is a small dining area that is a little better than the cross village rival. This is clearly a family operation. One of the tables had a backpack & papers out for the likely young child that passes the time while mom/dad are working. We ordered the pork egg roll which came out crispy on the outside and with a flavorful filling. The steamed potstickers were well prepared as well. I went with the pork lo-mein and was pleased with the taste and portion size.We dined in, but would likely choose carryout for any future visit. I enjoy supporting a locally owned and operated business knowing your patronage helps to support a family. I give Chinatown Kitchen a slight edge on their cross town competition.

To start off, I love chinese food. Be it in America or when I go to Asia. It doesnt matter where, I just love the cuisine. Another piece of information about me is that I have lived in the area for a long time. This info is very relevant because I love this restaurant.The food never disappoints me at all. There is always the same fantastic quality that I have come to expect. My jump back and forth from ordering the General Tso's Chicken to the Mushu Pork, and they are always great. And in my opinion they have some of the best Crab Rangoon in town. I love that I can get off a hard days work, stop in and order dinner and 15 mins later my food is done and I am on my way. One other big reason I love this restaurant is because of how welcoming the owners and staff are. If you are not ordering takeout and decide to eat in, Chinatown Kitchen is very accommodating. The owners are very sweet and I always end up talking with someone on staff for a while when I am there. Love this restaurant, if you live in the area, Chinatown Kitchen is where you should be going for chinese food.

Crab rangoons, SO GOOD!!!! Orange and General Tso's chicken, meh... Chow mein was more like linguini with sauce. Happy to have Chinese on Christmas so I can't be too disappointed but I'll continue looking for a Chinese restaurant worth raving about as we're new to West Bend and need to find "our place"

This is the place to go if you want quality, good-tasting Chinese food. I have been eating at Chinatown since it opened here in Jackson. I always get "carry out" and I don't recall ever having a complaint about the food. The owners are very nice people. In fact I am going to order from there right now!! Dale

We tried chicken and mushroom, Sesame chicken and chicken fuyong. All the three dishes were below average and not good. The service is not great.

I quite enjoy frequenting this Chinese restaurant. So much so that I haven't compared the others in the area. The inside is nothing special but you gotta love a hole in the wall place that does food right! Seems to be family run and always friendly to me. I order on the app and it's consistently hot and ready. No issues with quality with the chicken or vegetables! Favorites in our family are the chicken in garlic sauce, the sweet and sour chicken and the sesame chicken. The dumplings and dumpling sauce are amazing too! One day maybe we will try others, they have a huge menu!
