Great place to get Chinese food as far as being in Harvard. It's not like there's any better options. ChinaTown is a typical looking strip mall Chinese restaurant with an interior that's bare. Of course there's a few tables, but there's not much else. The food is what makes it good, or at least as good as it gets for this town. Among the fast food chains on this stretch is this place, one of the few that is local. It's in a plaza with a Rosati's and Subway. The choice was either a local pizza chain with a ton of locations, a worldwide sandwich chain with millions of locations, or this. Being kind of food snobby, we chose here. It's quite ironic to call eating at this place snobby. It's about $9 for an entree. There's a few vegetarian choices, including the Bean Curd In Home Style. Even though it wasn't spicy, you can add a bit of heat. That really helped make it, and there was quite a bit on the plate for the okay price. Could come here again if in town and wanting Chinese. It's about the only option. There's the typical items like beef and chicken, as well as bean curd for vegetarians.

We tried Chinese food from here for the first time and it was surprisingly good! We live in Woodstock but are close to Harvard. Woodstock does not have any good Asian restaurants so we usually go into crystal lake which is better but still not great. Chinatown is not great or the best Chinese restaurant I've been to but it is the best here in the further rural parts of mchenry county. The food was not heavy at all and the food was flavorful. I'm so glad we discovered this place and we will definitely be back!

Was driving through town on a day out with the girls. Stopped for lunch. Doesn't look like much from the outside and the dining area could use a good cleaning. But the food was delicious! We had the Hunan Shrimp, Hunan Chicken, and Crab Rangoons.

Love this place! Good food, quick pick up time, and reasonably priced. If they had delivery, now that would be perfection! Never disappoints! They even stayed opened for me one night when I called ahead and promised I'd be there in 10 minutes :)

Absolute gem of an establishment. Moved to Harvard from Louisiana 3 years ago and let me tell you, of all the Chinese food I've had since being up here, this place has been the best. Egg rolls are amazing, and the Hunan Chicken is phenomenal. The staff are so kind. Genuinely a pleasant place. 5 stars from me.

We love the pepper steak and egg foo young. The egg rolls are small. Like the idea that you have a choice of white rice or for a dollar more you could get fried rice.

Great good at a reasonable price. Great staff too.I love this place. You can call and in 10 minutes your food is ready for you to pickup.

Very good Chinese food! Order is always accurate. The egg rolls are smaller than what I have had at other restaurants, but fresh and tasty. Don't forget to grab soy sauce and duck sauce because they do not add them to the to go bag, you have to take what you need. Definitely recommend!

It's not super fancy inside the menu board, which is a bit outdated, but the food is amazing. The staff can be hard to understand sometimes. The orange chicken is one of my favorite meals to order!!!

Fresh, delicious and reasonable. Have stopped in many times and always the same. Good variety. Our favorites are beef pepper steak, Mongolian chicken, Orange chicken, Crab Rangoon, and Kung Pao Chicken
