After multiple take out orders this place has earned a full 5 stars and my utmost respect.It is a small family owned business and they show it with love, care, and quality work ethic and product. I've never had a messed up order, the order is always ready on time, and twice the owner has given a free crab rangoon or two with our orders because we are regulars.I really hope that they succeed and stick around, because this is the only place we order chinese carry out from anymore.

Seems like they cut corners. Filler foods in EVERYTHING last time we ate here there were so much mushrooms in the Kung Pao Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken, House Special Lo Mein, and Mongolian Beef. This time, we order a few of the same items (requested no mushrooms). The Teriyaki was served dry on a skewer and Kung Pao was full of broccoli stalks. Definitely not what we received 3 weeks prior. Will not be returning, do not feel comfortable eating at this establishment when it seems like they cut corners.

Food is delicious and staff is very friendly. Very clean. We ordered the shrimp low mein and the shrimp fried rice both delicious!! We also had the beef and broccoli and baby fried shrimp and the crab rangoons. I recommend this place. Will definitely be returning!

Definitely off the beaten path, but a true hidden gem! Well worth a visit. Atmosphere is simple but pleasant; menu is broad; service excellent; prices incredibly reasonable and the food is OUTSTANDING! What else is to want from a restaurant?? I was particularly delighted with the hot and sour soup and the Chinese egg roll that accompanied my entree. Both as good as I've had! Give this little family run place a shot. They deserve it, and you'll be glad you did.

We ordered for delivery. Chicken fried rice was very bland. Not sure what they do to get the chicken in a tubular form. I've never seen anything like it before. I always like to add soy sauce but that had no flavor either. The best thing we had were the crab ragoon .

China Wok is a small, family-owned, currently takeout-only restaurant in Appleton. It's tucked into a non-descript strip of businesses in an out-of-the-way location on Spencer Ave, a couple streets south of College Ave and east of the Burger King and Gustman's car dealerships on Lynndale. The fact that they have survived in this location so long is a tribute to their hard work and dedication to consistently providing good-quality food and customer service.Our family includes a couple of people with significant allergies and one picky eater who won't eat Chinese food UNLESS it's from this restaurant. China Wok's owners take allergies seriously and have always been attentive to making sure problematic ingredients and cross-over contaminants are avoided. Their menu includes all the standard American Chinese dishes, and, even without special requests, theirs taste fresher and lighter - vegetables fresh and crisp, no excessive or stale oil, no blackened eggrolls or crab rangoon, not loaded with MSG.If you're looking for some of the best Chinese food in the Appleton/Menasha/Neenah area, give them a try! I haven't eaten from here in about 8 years, because I don't work on that side of town anymore. And I'll never get Chinese food from anywhere else! The lady who took my order was kind and very professional. The egg rolls were yummy, light and crispy. The Happy Family was packed with meat and crispy vegetables. The shrimp with lobster sauce was tasty. Overall, it was wonderful! I should have tipped them more.
